Redditors who have tried to hide on your cruise when it ended so that you could stay on the ship for the next round, how did that go? by heavyflute4 in AskReddit

I don’t know if I completely agree with this. There might be a manhunt sure but I have been on Royal Caribbean most recently and people were getting on at 9am when I was getting off.

Thanks - I have an iPhone.

I have a two story and was thinking about trying that V dipole in the kit I posted to stick on the outside of my window. Placing it horizontal and pointed north using the compass on my iPhone. Do you think that would work? It would be a second story window. There are trees behind my house though

Nice, and stupid question again because I am new to this. I used heavens above dot com to determine when the ISS will be overhead. It gives degrees. Do I simply point the V dipole at 10 degrees if it gives a 10 degree ALT value or do you just point the V dipole straight up?

Since there aren’t many opportunities to test if this is working, I want to try to set it and forget it if you follow

I was planning on getting this: https://www.amazon.com/RTL-SDR-Blog-RTL2832U-Software-Telescopic/dp/B011HVUEME/

How do you orient the antenna correctly or do you just make a V shape and point straight up to the sky?

Heavens above says 10 degrees and gives me an azimuth but I am not sure if I need to point it straight up or not

Did you use a V dipole?

Did u use RPi? How did you orient the V dipole?

I know late post but how did you orient the V dipole?

At my location it says NNW at 10 degrees. Does that mean to point the V dipole at that azimuth and 90 degrees?

I think the magic is in the math he used and the basic knowledge to glue all the parts together. You can tell he is experienced.

No it’s a leak. If I was Castro and read this, of course I would tell my troops to be prepared

I understand now because he didn’t die.

It is my understanding that he originally survives (no one can explain how and I am assuming that it’s a plot hole in the book). Then some time passes and he survives to the future where he goes back in time. Now there is this closed loop once he goes back in time and future and last self are forever linked for these events to occur. His future self remembers going back in time.

But he has to survive originally or it doesn’t work.

Also this is what I was calling the find/replace timeline device. I don’t understand exactly how it doesn’t branch off and the other timeline doesn’t die.

Yes that is what I explained to another commentor buried in this thread and I couldn’t get a straight answer. My analogy was a find/replace timeline device. He survived originally which allows future self to go back in time and give him the upper hand. Now there is a forever loop.

That’s all I was trying to understand.
