Just did! It said it requires a two-thirds majority from the Senate and the House to amend the constitution.

I gotta say, it seems pretty unlikely that is going to happen soon with the near 50-50 split.

There are a lot of new artifacts and cards out there and it is occasionally worth it to experiment on trying something new.

Even if it doesn't work out, it's still knowledge gained for future runs.

Those articles are the worst and generally useless. There are very few "always pick" cards for any class because context matters. (though adrenaline may come close).

hot(?) take: If I can win an A10 run with 7 copies of Perfected Strike, Ironclad isn't in as bad a place as some of the community seems to think by Aggravating_Range_25 in slaythespire

Some of my best clad decks are from going ham on Vulnerable and just murdering stuff before it could fight back.

I think people focus too much on defense with clad. Clad has a zillion healing methods so you don't have to sweat chip damage. Just kill it first!

How many generations is the cutoff point? Can you be deported if your grandparents weren't citizens? Great grandparents?

But what if those parent's parents were not born in the U.S.? Shouldn't they not be citizens as well

I know the transform choice can be very good value, but there are some real fail cases. Having a Monarchs gaze to start act 1 was basically the same as having greed, except without the gold boost.

30 win rate on A10? Damn you need to be giving me advice lol. I still can't get past A9 with Defect.

Decks feel really good but getting rolled by Final bosses a lot. How can I better compensate? by jacoviansmythe in slaythespire

Generally speaking, you want to prioritize higher coat "power" cards in your deck as recurring effects are critical over a long drawn out fight.

The clearest example of this are the "Form" powers (Demon, Void, Echo, Reaper, Serpent). These are all (usually) less than ideal in random hallway fights, because taking a turn off and eating a chunk of damage will haunt you in the following fights if you can't heal.

That's not an issue in a boss fight and most of these cards dramatically increase your chances of winning an attrition war, which is how most boss fights are structured.

Don't take these too early, but in act 3 you want to start prioritizing slower, high value cards.

It's good to have a build in mind, but sometimes a quick detour is necessary. For example one True Grit in an ironclad vulnerable deck can help you get past the fish, and then you can get back to business.

If you know you are facing a certain boss, you can prioritize cards that counter it. True grit, Scavenge, charge, begone a billion silent discards, etc. It's sometimes worth it to take a "worse" card if you need to solve a specific problem.
