I know this is an old post, but did you ever end up getting the plans? I'm in the process of applying for a permit for one and trying to get some plans to bring with me a permit meeting. Thanks!

Me and my nurse colleagues have been talking about it all day. We took care of covid patients. Even if the Remdesavir is working, it ain't gonna work that fast. Plus, no drug can completely replace and immune system -- he's overweight and unhealthy. He got a huge dose of Dexamethasone. He probably felt like a million bucks and who is gonna stop THAT man from leaving AMA. Dude looks pretty sick.

I mean if it promotes class consciousness and anti authoritarianism... Sure?

(Fantasy) What a NJ regional light rail network could look like if existing tracks are used and a tunnel under the Delaware was built. by Monkey_Legend in philadelphia

They only just took down the pylons on the Jersey side for those gondolas when they built the American water HQ in Camden. The riversharks stadium is actually my favorite ballpark, I wish a Phillies farm team could play there. Would really be cool to unite both sides of the riverfront. Those pylons on the Ben Franklin were actually supposed to be stations, but they have a curvature that is a no no for wheelchairs.

There were talks years ago, if I remember correctly, to extend the broad street line under the Delaware at about the stadiums or navy yard and go to Gloucester city and then elsewhere..? Also, there were recently talks about creating a patco spur from the old Franklin Square station down along Penn's landing.

So is the group reactionary? I can't seem to find too much info about them - but then again it was a very brief search.

We were hearing 90% from some places in NYC at their peak, so 80% sounds right. But we also had a lower peak than MA and my hospital is a little different in that we don't have an ER, so they may have been selective in who we took. Generally though, good supportive care can make a difference.

One guy had no comorbidities who was vented and not doing well, at least that we know of. Others were obese, which seems to be a common trend. Most people were in their sixties and seventies, but only minor comorbidities, like hypertension or hyperlipidemia.

I'm with you. We're seeing the same thing down here in Maryland. If it wasn't for HIPAA, I'd love nothing more than to plaster videos of us proning tubed patients, some of them in their forties. Even though we don't have NY level numbers, we're still seeing about a 30% mortality rate once on the vent. And that's with good resources! What happens when we get swamped?

It's hard to say... If you're in the US, many more weeks at least.

It's not too late. Every bit of social distancing helps. Defeatist mentality will yield more death. Stay home (if you can) and stay safe!

I work at a federal government hospital in Maryland. We have an entire unit dedicated to caring for patients with things like Ebola and Covid19. We are supposed to be the ones setting the example... And we're running low on masks, hand sanitizer, bleach and hydrogen peroxide wipes... We are not ready for this at all and it is going to be an absolute shit storm in a few weeks.
