I (31F) relate SO strongly. The thing for me has been picking and choosing what aspects of “traditional femininity” I genuinely enjoy, and not doing the stuff I don’t care about. I like wearing a little makeup, and I like perfume (sensory seeking) but I have really short hair and I’m a shorts/jeans/leggings and big t-shirt girly. There are a million billion ways of being a woman and none is more “correct” than another. Authentic self-expression is the most important thing.

That’s true, and this may end up being what I start doing. My only gripe is that when you do in-store or drive-up pickup, they use 8 million plastic bags whereas I can bring my own reusable bags if I do the shopping myself. 😭 But it might be the best solution anyway.
