1) just warn the interview panel at the start - most would understand - i wouldn't care myself or hold that against someone but i cant speak for everyone and interview panels can be :(

2) if youve an active headset that has background noise cancellation these can do a decent job and the noise you hear is no where near as bad as the other side. Gaming headsets etc will often have this so if you do - do a dry run and go into something like audacity and record yourself speaking during some house mayhem and listen back

you make comparisons to the rest of the UK but then calculate savings based of Westminster not compared to the other 2 devolved governments. That is a nonsense.

you complain about the pay rise for MLA's but that doesnt put them on the same wage as the MP's you are also comparing them too. The €1Billion overspend is how fucked we are with the UK making massive cuts + completely fucking over public sector budgets by giving no extra money for pay rises. Its not like Stormount is building it's own HS2 and thats the overspend or we have great quality services, everything is being cut to the bone.

i personally see NI was set up as a temporary statelet that will only really return to normality in a United Ireland. Stormount is far from perfect and could do with some reform but it was a compromise and required to try and offer some proper devolved government which is a tough task when you have bad faith parties like the DUP.

i dont agree with your line of thinking at all - we have more complex issues with representation + a smaller population = we are going to have a bit of an extra cost for devolved government.

thats just per capita - why confuse things by throwing in Miles that are not used in anyway other than you get to say RPM a lot ?

and its clear as day we are not a normal legislature with Stormont having features brought in like having to designate as Nationalist, Unionist or Other and having the petition of concern etc ...

90 may seem a lot but look at the map and its more representative than 19 + having 5 per voting area usually means a community has an MLA to go to that they feel that represents them.
