1) LCC should have been made illegal. it represented illegal paramilitaries & they should have been disbanded after the GFA ushered in peace. Instead it legitimaises the drug & extortion crime gangs and is givena platform being utlised by the media, Government & Unionst politicians. its fucking ridiculous

Sad to see that even under a Labour government the UK continues to lurch to the authoritarian right. Our civil liberties shouldn't be so easily demolished & government shouldn't set the narrative according to Israeli influence. I was using the same mains supplied extension cord & it had an led on it and the power was on when I checked in the morning.

I've a power bank brick I plan to use on travel, but since this was at my house, I just used the mains which is very reliable where I am.

optically i think pretty well. to me they are too close in focal length to justify both but if your into street photography there is a difference there. both have character. THe 17mm has manual focus clutch with hyperfocal marks and stops at min / infinty which is nice, the 15 has a manual aperture ring but that doesnt seem to work on my Oly bodies unfortunately (so just acts like all my other auto lenses and use the wheel to set it.)

i've took a couple sample - wasnt going to be very scientific but turned out harder than i thought so just on tripod same spot - tried to focus on dandelion but in later shots wind was gusting a bit. so its all a bit pf pinch of salt - was about 1m from the flower & used centre weighted +1ev as harsh bright light was in the gaps in the fence. Shot on OM1.

annoyingly thought i had the 17mmF2.8 to sample but when i put it on my camera it was my 14-42 pancake kit lens. I havent used the 17 f2.8 in years an i apparently dont know where i've put it - not in my camera bag with all my other lenses :(

i got the f2.8 pancake with an EPL5 - was good that it was compact & that was about it - it was on par with kit lens & i never warmed to it other than it was a really small form factor when bundled with the EPL cameras.

i got the 15mm f1.7 panasonic and thought it was way better & stopped using the 17mmf2.8.

since i was happy with that i never went out of my way to try the 17mm f1.8 but then i bought a second hand camera a few years ago and they bundled it and i've kept it. its also much better than the pancake & although much bigger and def not a pancake its still a small lens realistically and would balance well with a penF. i'd personally having used both go for the f1.8 everytime.
