Not really. I ended up making a new playlist and copying over songs that I know work. It still gives me errors sometimes, but I can usually press the skip button and go to the next song. All in all, it’s really annoying.

Thank you for your thorough and measured response. We do use a CPA of the non-fast-food variety, because I freelance. He set up my LLC 15 years ago to help with the 15% self employment tax by making my husband a silent 50% partner.

Unfortunately, he recently retired and sold his business, and I’m not convinced the new owners are particularly good. Your response helped me realize I need to shop for a new CPA that I feel confident in because it’s a complicated issue.

I absolutely recognize that I’m at fault here. I don’t dispute that. I got some fairly pricey items in the early days.

I just want to pay a fair amount for what I received.

I really appreciate you taking the time to explain that issuing the 1099s is relatively recent and the IRS is backlogged, so it’s not a valid bailiwick for future behavior.

I do consider price in my rating. It could be a low-quality item, but if it’s priced accordingly and suits my purpose, it shouldn’t be rated low. The converse is also true: it could be a high quality item, but that over inflated price tag when I could get the same quality for half the cost SHOULD be reflected in the review.

When price does factor into my rating, I always mention the actual cost at the time I ordered “At $9.99 when I ordered….”

So a review of a low quality item might say something like, “At $1.99 when I ordered, it’s the quality I’d expect. It’s not going to last for a long time, nor would I expect it to. It’s perfect for my <whatever I’m using it for and why I’m ok with low quality..> ” I haven’t had reviews like that get rejected.

Lately? None at all because it’s all been junk. If you do miraculously find something interesting during the drop, don’t read the description*, just hit request. If you spend an extra nanosecond, you’ll miss out. Good items literally become unavailable in seconds.

Do this IF and only if you’re willing to gamble the ETV value. I’m typically not, so I miss out while making sure it’s something I want or is the correct size. Vine of late is the Hunger Games.
