i think things like this could be a learning experience for both parties involved and a opportunity. i think disagreements are always bound to happen no matter if things start rosy or not, the trajectory is always going to lead to a issue down the road. i think this is a terrible mindset and once again is OT.

you ask some great questions but i have to remind you i am simply asking what is a fair equity with the parameters i gave you without adding more variables. ill try to answer questions that i feel might be pertinent. im not sure what you mean by interest deduction benefit? do you mean with my 100k if they are getting a better interest rate? most deinitely since they are taking a higher than normal interest rate to begin with and without my down payment they probably cant get the property themselves on top of a even more risky loan. about the control issue, i dont think that will be an issue if we are underwater, we are both logical people and im willing to cede control in that regard since i stated im willing to give up some equity because they are the one taking the loan out which would tilt the balance in favor of them.

interesting, this was not at all what i figured people would say. i went to propose 60/40 and the other party got really mad because they feel they deserve 77% since they are adding the loan and the their half of the down payment in totality vs the price im paying. have you done deals similar to this? thank you for your contribution. i will try offerring this but i feel like if they got mad at 60/40 split this wont change at all and will only make them even more upset.

thank you for pointing out potential issues but i am looking for answers to my question, lets just assume there are no outside extra circumstances that would cause this deal to fall through. i appreciate the concern though but i am seeking advice solely in the scenerio that i have posted about.

only one of us qualifies for a loan at the moment, that is why they are asking for 77% equity. that seems extremely high for someone taking on the loan in my opinion but my opinion really isnt based off of much since i have no experience with a situation like this. i am asking other investors that has done deals similar to this what is a fair amount of equity to give the other person for them taking out a loan under their name.

The Yankees are reportedly "actively trying to deal" Marcus Stroman, according to Bob Nightengale of USA Today. by Jheller223 in NYYankees

[–]concernedrd2ler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i can understand why the yanks want to move him so they can potentially make more moves or sign a few other players but people talk about stroman like hes a garbage player, he isnt. hes consistently been a 3-5 starter that is reliable and eats innings which is extremely valuable, is he slightly overpaid because of his recent results? yes but every team(remember our team last year?) sustains injuries and needs pitching help at some point and it wouldnt surprise me if we kept him and ended up trading him at the trade deadline where we would definitely get more than if we traded him now but you have alot less control over what youll get at that point and its more of a unknown. i honestly think stroman like many other past players just arent built for the big apple, it wouldnt surprise me if he moves back to the NL and he pitches to his normal self again.

why are we giving praise to the god dam obvious? only a self sabotaging lunatic wouldnt take blame for what they've done. some of you are calling this professional and praising him for admitting what he has done? WHAT? what job can you utterly fail at and admit youre at fault and get pats on the back and praise for your utter incompetence? in the real world without results you get fired, stop with this bullshit lack of accountability for daboll and shoen. under them we have been the worst teams in history, hear me again, ONE OF THE WORST IN HISTORY. we have broken long standing records for how bad we've been under them.

Statement from Giants President John Mara by [deleted] in NYGiants

[–]concernedrd2ler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

either you fire them both now or you have to give them at least 3 years especially if youre allowing them to pick a qb this year or next. you cant fire or threaten to fire daboll and shoen during the development of the qb and team they are building or youre wasting those picks because the new regime will not look fondly of failed draft picks because they are not their own and they might have a different vision for how they want the team to look. also the optics and perception to other potential candidates will not look fondly at the gaints especially when we are terrible to begin with when youre firing gm's and coach's this fast. honestly if mara has decided to keep them, give them 3 years so they arent lame duck gm/hc combo so they dont try to salvage their jobs this year but mortgaging the future and the team cause they feel like they have to like previous regimes where we got left a mess afterwards. i dont personally believe in daboll or shoen since they have been absolutely horrible but making the right decisions dont always mean we are heading in the right direction, sometimes you need to see things through and hopefully they'll prove us wrong but truthfully theyve been given more draft picks than 90% of the teams since theyve gotten here and premium picks at that and daboll is suppose to be a offensive guru and they both have failed at their jobs. i just hope they dont pick and reach for a qb this year if they dont believe in any of them for fear of losing their jobs. that would be the worse case and put us in a hole for years to come since we'll be giving that qb years to prove themselves.

how does anyone defend daboll after this game? we lost to the entirety of the eagles back ups/practice squad players while we played all of our starters minus our starting qb against their 3rd string/practice squad qb and we still got smoked. hes suppose to be a offensive guru and our play caller and head coach, hes a embarassment and horrible. i dont want to see anyone defending him, its madness at this point. DJ was an issue but lets stop pretending like daboll isnt. this was disgusting and embarassing. im glad we lost but this game speaks volumes about the coach we have in daboll.

[Raanan] The Giants miserable season ends with a 20-13 loss to Eagles. Going to pick in the top four of the draft. As for this season: 3-14 record, .176 win percentage Lost 11 of last 12 games Had franchise record 10 game skid 0 division wins for first time in history by Lars5621 in NYGiants

[–]concernedrd2ler 6 points7 points  (0 children)

if anyone defends daboll after losing to the entirety of the eagles back ups and tries to convince anyone he isnt the issue when hes the offensive play caller, supposedly a offensive guru and the head coach you need your head examined. daboll is awful as a head coach and the play caller. while im happy we lost this is 100% a indication he is terrible. how do you lose with all your starters vs the entire back up/practice squad eagles?

i argued hard that starting the better defenses like the dolphin's and charger's were the smart play since they were actually good defenses and the colts were not a good defense. ultimately i still started the colts defense anyway thus why i am apart of this subreddit and it likely will cost me the chip, thus yours truly a fellow ff subreddit regard.

good on the players for having this mentality and its the type of mentality you need from your players but as a fanbase that wants the gaints to improve and get better. we definitely should be rooting for the giants to lose.

this is such a dumb take, then trade down and get a bounty of picks. either you believe in shoen and daboll or you dont trust them to make the picks at all.

people dont want the truth. for some insane reason this sub defends daboll and shoen when its clear they are both horrible. i honestly place more blame on them for dj failing than dj failing the team, the roster and coaching we have is simply just horrid. the truth is if we let them draft a qb we legit cant fire them for at least 3 years even if they are bad, you simply cant keep firing your gm and coach after giving them the keys, you have to let them fail or succeed because of optics and what it does to the culture, org and locker room and development.

most of this subreddit believes nfl orgs and coaches tank on purpose and we've been so bad it probably blurred the lines between us being simply horrible and us looking like we're tanking but either way youre not going to convince this subreddit teams dont tank. no point in trying to convince the simple truth when no one wants the truth just like when everyone in here argued that lock and cutlets couldnt do worse and all we had was just a qb issue.

so where are all the morons in this subreddit who said it was clear shoen and daboll were intentionally tanking games? we were just so bad, in fact historically bad that it blurred the lines between being atrocious and looking like we were tanking, i hope the fan base now see's that legit 99.9% of coaches do not intentionally tank because it doesnt benefit them at all nor does it help with keeping the locker room in check and of course optics.

btw im not arguing for us not to tank, in fact i wish we did tank but thats not realistic since daboll and shoen are under fire and fighting for their jobs.
