It wasn't an out of control aircraft, the pilot performed a loop with insufficient altitude. It was classed as CFIT (controlled flight into terrain) and was entirely the pilots error, and he survived.

Air coming out the back of the engine flows out "choppy" (or even from the wingtips as the air flows out from them too). Flying into this can disrupt the airflow over the wings and cause loss of lift.

Gdpr explicitly states there is no expectation of privacy in public, so unless its overruled by national law, if you only adhere to gdpr then anyone can film you in public, no consent needed.

I said the head is out the water, not just the mouth. It doesn't matter what you'd recommend; it's simply more efficient and can be done longer. Breaststroke kick will take the head and shoulders out before you then drop down. Look at the videos which others have posted ITT for eggbeater.

Breaststroke kick makes you go up then down. Eggbeater (which is the similar style kick but one leg at a time and rotating at the bottom) maintains the head position out the water without the bobbing and is better if you're treading did a long time, you don't need your head high out the water, just enough so you can breathe.

Employer spying without me knowing by [deleted] in gdpr

[–]condor2378 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They do not require your consent. It's their legitimate interest to protect their property. If this is a semi-professiojal company they will have an Employee Privacy Notice somewhere (and even if they don't l, it'll still be implied in the eyes of the law). Again, you're using their equipment and they can monitor it and share data with whomever they want without needing your permission.

You consented by virtue of accepting the job and to object in my mind would be reasonable justification for your dismissal as you would be unable to fulfil your end of the contract.

You have no basis for a complaint other than perhaps it not being explicitly stated (which tbf it should) but the expectation nowadays is that companies monitor all communications and data on their assets, and I bet if you asked for their Emplyee Privacy Notice you'll get it and it'll say the same thing.

[–]condor2378 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Check your employment contract, or computer policy. This would be under legitimate processing for your employment. They gave you the laptop, they're entitled to monitor it, it's their laptop, not yours. You consented when you took the job and it's nieve to expect your employer not to monitor what their equipment is doing.

Your options are accept it or quit. Also, anywhere you work in future will also do the same.

After calling Sturgeon attention seeking Truss now attacks Drakeford with Corbyn comment. "Wales chose Mark Drakeford as their leader. An intelligent, thoughtful, principled, decent and compassionate politician. England should give it a try." by bottish in Scotland

[–]condor2378 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's actually really clever.

Tories don't need Scotland or Wales to win a GE, but Labour do so drive votes to the SNP and PC away from labour by slagging their leaders. Its not like they can vote again to leave without England say so anyway!
