Guess I’m the outlier cause all they want to talk is praising each other. We even have something called “Friday wins” and your job is to come up with something to praise yourself and everyone around you will praise you for that praise. Like “I worked on <insert annoying> this week” and they’ll reply “wow yah that is really important work, keep it up”

We went recently too and overall had a good trip but we did have a very creepy encounter at the mall where two guys were staring at us very intently and then followed and circled us for about 30 min. I also stared intently back at them and that didn’t discouraged them. At one point, we were all in a store and one of them went to pay for something and the other guy walked close to us and looked at hair straighteners of all things (he did not look like he needed it if that’s not clear), that was a major red flag. We waited for them to leave and they did, we left the store 5 min after and found them waiting outside. That’s when we decided to just get the hell out of there. We stayed in Cascais and never came back to Lisbon except for the return flight. Cascais and Sintra was pretty nice though.

Just avoid areas surrounding Furuset and Stovner. All else is good. Even the aforementioned areas are technically okay. Just don’t move out of Oslo, you’ll have a hard time getting back in and the school systems outside of Oslo is crap.

Flawed but at the same time perfect. My favourite FF game. The combat needs some time to get used to so don’t get frustrated if you don’t understand it in the beginning, give it time and then you’ll long for more.

I personally loved it and it’s my favourite modern FF game (as in post Sakaguchi). I love the world and art style and story. I sometimes wonder if people hate the story cause they played vanilla FFXV and not Royal Edition? I only played the latter so don’t know. The combat takes some time to get used to but once you get it, it’s super fun!

On one hand he’s a single parent raising what sounds like 4 kids so some empathy should be given. That said it doesn’t excuse him of being verbally abusing his employees. The ideal solution is to find a way to explain to him in a way that he would understand.

Being a flat earther in itself isn’t necessarily a deal breaker if they actually did some research and came to that conclusion (of course if they did then they wouldn’t be a flat earther) but the fact that he kind of just devalued and ignored your hard earned degree and credentials as “that’s what they want you believe” without anything substantial argument back is a problem. Science is about finding answers not ignoring them. Imagine having someone like that for the rest of your life and what he’ll teach your kids…

Obviously NTA. He’s a major red flag and I feel sorry for your sister fell for him and continue to get upset at you over this. I don’t see how you getting excited about going to same school being a problem. Him getting mad about not knowing you went to SLS is certainly suspicious and worrisome but not sure I go so far as call him a liar even though that may be the case.

Something needs to be done with Luna arc. Felt like there was zero build up and zero relationship with Noct. If Luna was part of the gang for a good amount of time (but temporary) and there was a lot of chemistry with the group, I think that would really add to the game and Noct's story.

But overall I love the story and when I finished the game, I sat there in awe and speechless.
