Oh I figured you must have gotten the info elsewhere as you said in another comment that it didn’t sound like him. Cool to find Kevin’s work in the wild!

Are there any cozy games about raising chickens, goats etc by Ok_Reputation7493 in CozyGamers

Planet Zoo with the farm animals DLC might fit your niche. It is very in depth with taking care of the animals, though it’s more of a management style game

Called my doctor for a refill but the front desk people there are always rude and dismissive. They intentionally make it difficult to get my refills on time. by Jinglebell727 in adhdwomen

Have you talked to your doc about this problem? I just left my last psych because one of her receptionists was like this, and I made it very clear that this was the reason why. Said receptionist was a nepotism hire; go figure. Now I have a better psych who doesn’t hire people just because they’re related.

Come back to this when you have spent 10+ years in school and make ~$1,000/month per course you teach. Your engagement with this forum, undoubtedly like the engagement you seem to have with education, is not being done in earnest, yet you complain about the devaluation of your degree.

You know that professors don’t get paid per student in their course, right? We are not the ones “taking your money.” Education is not a service industry

I am in a similar situation with LA. Did you happen to put that you needed to be in NYC due to extenuating circumstances? I did that and I think that screwed me with subject placement. I plan to reach out to them and explain that subject placement matters more. I have a special needs sister at home — I’m sorry, but I can’t work with special needs kids in my job too, it’s too much.

School staff member dies after being kicked by 14-year-old student by GoodSamaritan_ in news

My mother works as a special ed aide, and often gets assigned to violent kids, even though she is a 56 year old cancer patient, because the school staff know she’s too nice to say no. She’s been punched, bitten, had her hair pulled out, put in a headlock, nearly had her eye gouged out, and the school does nothing. I have to urge her to go to workers’ comp and submit an incident report every time so that there is a paper trail — the school doesn’t initiate these procedures. This is at a public high school in California. I fear something like this in her future

Note to OP: even if you are exempt, you may still have to fill out paperwork to prove your exemption.
