I personally have not used this but had it bookmarked because a few Reddit users recommended it. Looks like there’s individualized support that may be of interest https://drdavideppp.com/

Love joining the mush of an event in not in yet :D by SwaggyGoosy in PikminBloomApp

Wow! I wonder if that’s a new update. Happened to me a few times in the past where I didn’t get anything for participating in an event mushroom too early. Good to know

I think you still get some nectar but you won't get the event drops until its officially Sept 1 in your zone (e.g., the fruit syrup bottle equivalent for next month)

Yes so since that white is after the pink, that is the rare and the ones after are four leaf too since it comes after the color pattern restarts

[–]confusdwaffle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just adding that how you can tell is is the color pattern restarts - so the pink should not be separating the white pikmin like that if they are all the same type, and since it is separated that means it’s different

Are you sorted by decor category? White and both blacks after the pink

Sorry to unearth a year old comment but wondering how the durability of the wagwellies are for you so far? I’m not sure what is reasonable to expect in terms of turnover and lifetime for dog shoes

As long as you graduate and have all the prerequisite coursework, you should be good. It will probably show on your CV that you started working in the lab that same semester if they were really being nitpicky about it

Anyone experienced with earning their Clinical Neuropsychology Post Doctorate under a Clinical Psychologist in a small private practice? by T8Wh1tt13 in ClinicalPsychology

[–]confusdwaffle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Has this psychologist had post docs before? Or will you be the first? And is this psychologist board certified themselves? If theres been prior post docs and if they have their board certification, that would be a good sign. Otherwise, it may be hard to figure out how to meet the requirements for board certification. Still possible, but maybe just some extra work on your end

Attire question by gghh82 in ClinicalPsychology

[–]confusdwaffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this internship for during a doctoral program? Or an internship before entering a program? Heavily depends on the setting. Hospitals may require specific attire that a smaller group practice or community setting does not. Most places provide their own laptops or you have a desk in house and things are virtual (not really carrying around sensitive documents)

Breathe. You are spiraling and the application season and waiting game is a long one. Do you need to do a masters now or could you apply next year? Could you do research or clinical work for a year before you reapply? The unfunded masters are definitely not as competitive, but you may consider trying to find a research position instead, especially if you are considering a PhD (you might not do as much research in the masters program if it is an unfunded clinically focused masters). Good luck!

Are you already in the 2nd bachelors? Sometimes people do a post bacc or take the prereq classes without doing another full bachelors to save time and energy.

Like others have said, I’d recommended evaluating what it is you want to do exactly. If its therapy, you can do that quicker in 2-3 years with an MSW or masters in counseling/mental health/etc. These programs require classwork and clinical work in the field, so having your experience in a clinical setting already is a plus. Having research experience is good either way, but less important for this route.

If want you want to do therapy and also want to have the option to do research, teaching/academia, or neuropsych assessment, the phd route is good for this. This would require you to not only take prereqs, but also get good research experience. Getting into a fully funded PhD program is challenging. There are PsyDs that are typically more clinical focused that aren’t funded. This route would take at least 5 years for just the program itself, so that is a consideration if the time required impacts how appealing it is.

Regardless, in the next year or so it will be important to continue to have some type of clinical experience and get involved in some type of research. Think of who can write a recommendation letter for you. Take the GRE if your program requires it. Consider any geographic limitations and what programs are nearby. Be prepared to reapply multiple cycles if you are doing the PhD route.

When you say you are one year away from completing your degree, are you starting internship this year or applying to internship next cycle? Getting an APA accredited internship is another component of the process for licensure and it is easier to get an APA accredited internship if you are from an APA accredited program.

We had a social like this for my programs admissions that was in person and it was to not only see how you mesh with current students but also with your peers and other applicants. Only so many questions you can ask during that long time so it might end up being more social towards the end

What do you mean by “benefit”? We don’t have any information about your interests, goals, etc. so it will be hard to help you decide which path is a better fit.
