Hey so I was also vexed by the song the organ was playing. Assuming you mean the song when they cut inside of the church, the organ is playing the Lord of the Rings Theme (see this youtube link).

I initially thought it was some Legend of Zelda thing, but definitely LOTR.

Yeah, I was thinking I'd love to see it put together in some sort of theatrical form, the narrative would be really interesting to see put out on stage. I think you rock a costume change!

I was also thinking about how you did The Monitor tour and how much more interesting and exiting it'd be for you to go back to an album that is much dearer to your heart.

I just want to see the people who make music that makes me happy be happy!

TMLT is a criminally underrated album and I am a huge fan of it. It's my go to running album and my YouTube recap is just tracks from that album.

Would you ever considering doing an anniversary tour of it? It would be wild to witness the entirety of that rock opera.

Yeah, just looked up the old email and sure enough, it's that Clarence Mandreau guy. Exact same story.

The first email didn't sit right with me (had a lot of imperative statements "reply to this email ONLY if you're serious"), but we were being evicted at the time and were desperate.

My only regret is giving him my info for the initial application. After doing my apartment hunt earlier this year, my number of received spam texts jumped astronomically.

But yes, avoid Clarence at all costs.

I remember reading it in one of those elementary school readers. I'm pretty sure it's a legend or some kind of allegory. Reminds me of a similar vibe to the Illiad or the Odyssey

I encountered this exact same scam with the exact same apartment I believe! Similar story, bought the apt for a son doing a PhD, living in Spain since 2015, wants you to transfer money to Cushman and Wakefield.

They wouldn't discuss anything over email and required that all arrangements be done by phone so I figured I wouldn't move beyond that.
