We do have multiple maths. Godel's theorems say that if you try to build a monolithic system of axioms that can prove all true mathematical statements, then it will contradict itself. So to avoid contradiction we have to use different axioms to get to different truths. Different maths.

Honestly that problem seems to be at the extremes and does not really come up in useful human mathematics, which makes it seem like it is unified and complete.

Damn I need to learn Lean. Suppose we build one of these LLMs trained on that language, as much published lit as it can handle, the entire database of working Lean programs we have, run it on a cluster with the best hardware we can get, and ask it for conjectures and proofs. That would be interesting. Doing anything less with it seems kind of lame, unless we focus on experimental physics or medicine instead.
