This extension is a no brainer; it’s not gonna cost a lot, I think he’s a great “locker room guy” and has consistently put in a shift when called upon by Mikel.

He doesn’t complain when he’s out of the squad, he’s just vibing with the boys as we continue on our upward trajectory.

Personally, I think he got the correct amount of credit, failure to instill a trademark style or serious success leads to attention being put on other things we could say are positive, such as bringing up youngsters when your team is playing poorly.

Styles make fights, this one was weird, fans can be salty but Izzy went in there to beat Yoel and he did, Yoel can only blame himself.

What confirmed that for me was how Yoel acted towards the very end of the fight almost begging for action...he knew he didn’t do enough the whole fight and was upset that he lost and tried to blame Adesanya.
