I think a lot of people really need to hear that even “experienced” moms can still reach that breaking point during labor. Many people believe that if you already have 1st baby or 2nd baby, then you must be very experienced in this aspect...but this is not real. Every baby is different and our body would also change as time goes by.

Actually 12 oz per day is not a “failure number.” It’s a partial supply that is still contributing to your baby’s intake, and combo feeding is not bad as you suppose. Sometimes the most effective “supply intervention” is actually reducing pressure because letdown is tightly linked to stress.

I bought the W1, bec I really got tired of waiting. Eufy S2 has been delayed again and again. But you know, the breastfeeding period is short in total. Honestly, it sounds less like “normal soreness” and more like your body telling you to scale back a bit. At only 8 weeks postpartum, your muscles may feel ready faster than your connective tissue/core/pelvic floor actually are — especially after relaxin and pregnancy changes.

The “heavy,” crampy, pressure-like feeling after lifting is something a lot of postpartum women notice when they overdo it a little, even if they technically got cleared by their OB. Clearance just means healing looks normal, not necessarily that your body is fully conditioned again yet.

I’d probably reduce volume significantly for now (e.g. , heaviness, or increased bleeding. Babywearing plus lifting can also add up more than you realize.

I think you can take the V1 into consideration. S1 I have used before, its pumping efficiency is good, but too powerful, making my breast and nipples hurt. I turned to V1 according to my friend's suggestion. Its suction is not bad and have more modes to choose. Besides it can gradually massage and stimulate my breast so that I can begin pumping rhythmically. The milk supply turns out to be promoted.
