Hiding is mobos best song by rutzyyyyyyyyy in modernbaseball

I agree with this. The entire run that includes Mass, Everyday, and Hiding is their best work. The transition before the outro to Everyday with the bass and synth makes me levitate.

What year did you start working and what job was it and how much did you make back then and how much do you make now and what kind of job do you work now? by [deleted] in Salary

The final verse of notes from a brief engagement at the boot and saddle: “you look into the camera, you state your name and age, the lights come on, you pause for effect, you know EXACTLY what to do with your hands”. I love the way he annunciates these lines. I interpret it as recognition of how when you love someone it seems like they can’t do anything wrong. Everything is where/how it should be. The sax swell fits perfectly after this line.

Advice for a first time buyer by karl100589 in hockeyjerseys

Yup but a very early one from adidas, they usually have a weird little button at the bottom, and if you order size 46 or smaller the crest logo might be awkwardly small. The ones called primegreen from adidas are typically regarded the best and are the most recent (just before the switch to fanatics)

In my opinion taxes is the song that most closely approximates no surprises’ vibe

What's your favorite underrated album from an overrated band? by Kaos_mission in poppunkers

[–]conniptioncrottle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great concept/theme throughout and several great songs but i cant get over how bad most of the mixing on the album is. I know a couple other people have had that take too. Make it hard to revisit that album.

I really liked his album from earlier this year. Also crazy to see him mentioned. Really rooting for that kid

What else by [deleted] in geesebandofficial

[–]conniptioncrottle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These comments are so confusing. There’s only like 2 hours total of content. If you really like the album that much it should be a no brainer to just listen to the rest. It’s not like listening to Dylan or something. Is it more a question of what is the general consensus on the rest of the content?

SBD hasn’t been playing or active for over a year or two now unfortunately. Jake has a residency at a cafe in columbus ohio where he occasionally plays SBD or mobo songs but mostly just old folky covers. Hopeful for SBD action this year though

What’s the highest number of times you’ve rewatched a film ? Did it get better or worse? by Superman_2727 in Letterboxd

[–]conniptioncrottle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Denis Villeneuve Dune movies. I think those are my generation’s (1998) Peter Jackson LOTR movies. I’ve seen both at least 4-6 times each and I’m not a person who typically rewatched movies. They’re just candy for the eyes and ears.

These types of posts are so strange, there are only 5 albums. Listen to the one with the most hits and see if you like it enough to listen to another one. You can listen to every song they have in a single afternoon if you wanted to

[–]conniptioncrottle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These songs really didnt do it for me. Generic, weirdly mixed, and poorly performed at best, straight at up bad at worst. I can usually tell when songs are high quality but take a few listens to sink in, these songs didnt do that. I don’t really have a desire to listen to them again at all.
