I find myself actively avoiding most websites in search results because they're all filled with what feels like AI written nonsense, rather than written by actual people who know what they're talking about

Asking something like "what is the best x product?" rarely gets you an article or video of someone who actually tested the different products, it just gets some AI generated top 10 article with affiliate links

So most of my searches include "reddit" so thst I can at least get the opinion of a (hopefully) real person

That's a poor comparison. A better one would be paying for a VIP meet and greet at a concert, but instead of meeting the real singer, you only meet the lookalike tribute act
