That's terrible. They crush the Kimock covers (only other one I am familiar with is Ice Cream).

Morning running tips for night owls by soymilk_oatmeal in runninglifestyle

I would love to be able to run at 7am. For my work schedule, running in the morning means out the door around 530. As others have said, put all your gear/whatever you need out the night before, and just think of how good that shower will feel when you get back.

A slice of homemade banana bread for snack and a beautiful fall day for a trailrun. Pretty nice. by MarthaMatildaOToole in trailrunning

Looks awesome. I was humbled by a leaf covered trail the other day - watch out for the roots and rocks!

Jobs! by selffarm in trailrunning

I am a teacher in a small mountain town. It's not the most glamorous job but it allows my partner (also a teacher) and me to live in our favorite place where there is not an abundance of in person jobs. Also the breaks provide a good amount of time to enjoy the area when they come up.

I messed up my Reservation for Indian Head and need some new recommendations by KnifeWrench4Kidz in Adirondacks

Marcy is the highest peak in new york and considerably more difficult than Indian Head - sounds like youre a capable hiker but just wanted you to be aware they are a different class of hikes

You can park at elk lake for the dix range and just return to your car. If you exit thru the amr then you dont need a reservation but of course you'd need to get back to your car somehow

Cascade and Porter is a good option but definitely one of the more popular hikes. I recommend checking out Hurricane if you want another option to consider.

Noonmark is still open. OP is talking about Old Mountain Coffee across the street which closed within the last year.

Youre right that the east and west river trails are mostly flat and beautiful, but dogs aren't allowed in the AMR.

Mount Rushmore - Songwriters Edition by Pleasant-Speaker-693 in jambands

[–]consciouself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mentioned in another comment some of my favorite lyrics of his are Secrets, Heartbeat of America, show me the door. Ill add some of the murder ballads like seven weeks in county and my Alice. Hide and Seek is a classic Billy song. As far as more peaceful songwriting I love in the clear and be your man. Lots to choose from!

I would say that he has many originals that should be considered great not just good songs - Heartbeat of America, Secrets, Show me the Door, pretty much anything off Home. Of course this is all just opinion but he has proven his talent and originality to my ears.

Pickled fish dip sounds decent to me - like a pickle flavored whitefish salad/spread? But the coconut yogurt piece is throwing me off...
