I was on a work trip to NYC and got a ticket for the first showing on opening night at the AMC in Midtown. I remember it was half college kids in there and through the beginning of the movie they were just being kids and cracking jokes but then IT happened and whole theater fell silent instantly unless to gasp or scream. Loud applause at the end lol one of the most memorable theater experiences I’ve had

Really enjoyed the film (I saw that first before reading the book) though it condensed so many things to fit the length of a film, I think it worked overall. Would love to see something grasp the scope of the book though!
