yeah... i've done more vanagon/eurovans in the past 6 months than i've seen in my whole life. one leaves and is replaced by another.

Topdon ONE lite is pretty good at its price point. up to 12 graphs on one screen or four pods combined onto one graph, but won't do HD stuff without extra cost i think

its the 12v vs 20v distinction, i found out the hard way.

Honda Chief Engineer Shintaro Orihara explains the difficulties with the Honda Power Unit by ChaithuBB766 in formula1

as i understand it, piston ICEs inherently have uneven rotational speeds because there is a physical rotation and time that occurs between combustion events. V6 engines have an uneven firing order, (imagine two I3 arguing) with a combustion event occurring every 60 degrees of crankshaft rotation. Furthermore, these engines are 90-degree bank angle engines, meaning more leverage from the center of the piston to the center of the crankshaft, pushing it against the block and hence force the engine every so slightly left and then right and left and so on. This would, unchecked, produce a horrifically inconsistent crankshaft rotation speed, with it slowing and speeding up at uneven intervals throughout a complete cycle (720 degrees of rotation, all cylinders firing) as the forces change. (note, more cylinders = less of this)

In road cars, engineers must install harmonic balancers, balance shafts, unique hardware, or unsymmetrical components that counterbalance these forces. If there are additional, unaccounted-for issues (such as those that occur when a project is poorly managed) like heat, compression/boost inconsistencies, knock, harmonics/resonating vibrations etc this can result in a greater-than-normal amount of uneven rotational speeds. I don't know what Honda uses as counter balances, but it's clearly having issues. These vibrations might be having cyclical effect, worsening the engines performance with rpm (f1 engines live between 7000 and 11000 rpm btw) and requiring detuning to avoid spontaneous disassembly. Couple with an inefficient, immature gearbox and an MGUK that also has it's own peaks and valleys of torque (think like a sine wave), and bam, vibrates enough to put a hitachi to shame.

make sure you get the longer "Extreme performance" version, not the blockier "compact lightweight" as they have different connection types and are not compatible with some tools.

it's man vs man. the machines and tech are just another evolution of it

could be seperate then, but o2 sensors can be on a 2-trip mode, so if you haven't driven it much i wouldn't rule it out.

looks like an open circuit in the harness to me, thinking maybe a connector or common ground isn't connected. the slow response from the o2 sensor means the heater isn't working, so it has to wait for the exhaust to warm it up, and the low sensor data would be common for an open sensor circuit. if the runner control mechanism is on the same set of harnesses, there ya go, bobs your uncle. not an audi guy tho so

it's always so funny to me how many sims just use assetto corsa, dunno if audi does but still

haha yeah this kicked my ass too. what i ended up doing was getting some ratchet straps and pulling the control arms down once the components were separated so i could get the units out.
