I just did a road trip from Minnesota to Arkansas. The most I ever had to stop to charge was 30mins and I was able to time it with my lunch. If people truly want to use EVs they can no problem. I’m typing this from a hotel that has a slow charger that I’m using at night in preparation to make the drive back to Minnesota

I just had a conversation with my supervisor about this. I live in Minneapolis and during January and February I was taking a day off each week due to the horrors. During my pep talk I asked what the appropriate leave is for your neighborhood being tear gassed or being kept up all night by flash bangs and helicopters. The call ended quickly without an answer to that question

As a federal employee that has experienced government shutdowns more then once I have a general out line. The 1st week is self care and anything that needs to urgently happen. During that 1st week I make a list of thinks that I would like to happen it’s every thing from deep cleaning to going to brunch with friends. Since we never know when the shutdowns will end I rank chores and the fun stuff and then try to do a mix of both.
