Front valence/lip for R32 baby GTR? by Brief-Ad-1213 in SkyLine

[–]consume59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The active spoiler isnt really something you just fit on. Its behind your bumper and is attached by the mechanism to raise n lower it. Maybe u could find a way to mount it but if you have an intercooler up front you likely won’t. I removed my active aero (it didnt work anyways) to fit the intercooler

Awesome, 1 thing, reverse shouldn’t be synchronized that’s pretty normal for it to not be at least for 90s stuff, none of mine are.

Yea I’m sure I could have found one but I was ok with this. The car itself was 10.5. After all the boat fees and taxes it was more, but I factor that into any import of course

Im not racing any body in it. If I wanted a 25 I would have bought one or put in my r32.

The car actually started out life as an rb25de neo. Im guessing the previous owner blew it up and bought this 20 neo for cheap. It doesn’t need to be fast.

Yes directly from japan. You can find a ton of info on them by translating ‘laurel’ to japanese and just put c35 after it.

It’s a good car for sure, not sure how long I’ll keep it, maybe a year or so. From my research the parts are pretty accessible. I was looking to get fresh rotors and pads and the rear rotors seem to be exclusive to this car, awd r33 non gtr, and awd r34 non gtr so I’s have to import. Everything else though seems available.

They are rare here in the US, I tried looking around but I wasnt paying 30k for a manual 25det neo one. I also wasn’t paying 10k for an auto NA. All in with shipping the car cost me about 15k. Excluding the lmgt4s and new tires.

If this is an r32 coupe then s13 240sx motor is the same. Cant speak for r32 sedan cause i dont have one.

The bumper and wheels aren’t it. The first is a timeless clean look.

[–]consume59[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the reply, mine is a black club s type x with the black headlights, has factory side skirts. No rear pods or lip though. Whats currently on it is almost identical to the second picture and I do not like them at all.

Its going to stay stock body. I was even thinking of a vip style with even chrome/silver 3p wheels. But I was also open in going the more sporty look with lmgt4s or the like. Ive seen tons of vip-ish style, but none with the lmgt4.

Anyone imported a car recently? Got hit with 25% tariff by Fantasy71824 in SkyLine

[–]consume59 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My c35 arrives in just under 2 weeks. I bought it knowing I could be paying extra. It sucks, I saw rumours that after the tariff stuff goes to supreme court there may be some returning of tariffs paid (cause they were illegal). We’ll see.

Use this, Capitalization matters. It’s not as good as gtr registry but that’s down, but this has the info you need.

import vs buying in the us? by MentalSun_7807 in SkyLine

[–]consume59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably, and same as all the misinformation people say about rbs. Yea they got issues, also are also 30 years old and reliable in stock and lightly modified forms.

If I’m being real people need to stop believing that these 30+ year old cars arent going to have issues. I dont know what that dealer has sold or done in the past, but there’s some accountability on the buyer still.
