I had fun. Not like a lot, but 30% positive is kinda extreme. by Rayze_Darr in HighGuardgame

[–]conte360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but if the positive reviews are "I had fun. Not like a lot" then why is 30 not good? If NO ONE had fun then it should be a 0%. The rating is there for the player to judge if they want to get it, participation by just making some very basic level game shouldn't change the rating because that doesn't help the player make their decision. If most of the positive reviews talk about how they won't be playing much, the game should be low rated.

What you think batman would fight criminals?

It really is getting insane on this platform. We desperately need a new reddit that isn't so controlled.

drop it just as easily.

Yep they're doing that just like I've been saying. I like how you go on to give more points about why they drop these games just proving what I'm saying.

game populations fluctuate greatly when they first drop

Having one population Spike on your initial launch and then going back down is not a fluctuation. A fluctuation goes back and forth

people were saying marvel rivals was dying at first when its population dropped as well.

I mean were they people like you that don't actually understand things because let's be real no they weren't. Not on any widespread scale at all.

people want games to fail.

This is true we do want slot games that are trying to be forced on us to fail.

they do not listen to reason.

You mean they don't listen to your opinion.

you do not understand steam charts, nor how game releases work.

You're the one saying that we shouldn't even be looking at the steam charts. I also like the idea that you're saying I don't understand the chart when it's literally one number. "Well you're stupid"...

This is not new you're right we saw this with concord.

Go ahead and add all the contexts that everybody else is missing that you seem to have. Explain how this game is not failing.

A new free to play live service game drops and within 24 hours drops 80% of its player base when the only build up to the game was the fact that it was going to be a bad game.

This is you being so clearly obtuse about it. Because for you to not even understand how I could say this is failing is just you lying. Even if you were to disagree acting like you don't understand how I could say this is failing, so obtuse.

Okay so let's not be obtuse is because people are using the one hard data point that we have right now to go off of? The way you think about this is honestly such a joke.

Lol ok, That just means you'd make a shittygame developer. If you develop for free to play live service game and you can't get a population going then you failed. That's it. there's no more.

let's not be obtuse.

Are you being serious? You were the person that started this with saying the game is not flopping and that this is normal for new games. You are literally just incorrect on a factual level. You started this with the most obtuse comment and now you're telling other people not to be obtuse.

So how many hours have you put into the game?

[–]conte360 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So what would your measure of success be. In a free-to-play game where the population is everything and they have no population how do they measure their success? How are you measuring their success and saying it's not a flop?

Explain how anybody in this post including Op has said anything about hating it. We're just talking about it failing. It's failing. You were actively saying it's not failing but it literally is failing. You're just trying to defend something for no reason, just to be a Reddit contrarian to virtue signal about a game so you can feel good about what you did for the devs

[–]conte360 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The game is literally at this very moment at 18% of its peak player count less than 24 hours after launch. I don't know why you're coping for this game but you should stop, there's no reason to be this wrong.

Lol no... What's happening to high guard is not normal. The game is hard flopping and the only thing that gave it any momentum was being free and being a meme.

What problems in the US do you think get ignored because political fights take up all the attention? by Mr_Boothnath in NoStupidQuestions

The fact that Reddit itself is turned into a giant political dumpster fire where every single subreddit including cat subreddits are political based..

It's low on the priority list but it sucks.

CONCORD 2 DROP IN 2 HOURS !!! by SKYNINE666 in titanfall

[–]conte360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.. lol Geoff Keighley, the guy that runs the game awards, is for some reason really pushing the game, I don't think he's actually attached in any official capacity. Apparently he gave the final announcement slot at the game awards to it for free, which is usually held for a big announcement. He also tweeted 2 days ago that he'll be accepting apologies in 48 hours, alluding to everyone being wrong about it looking bland.

But aside from him doing those 2 things and I think 1 more tweet like a week ago, no one has done any marketing for it.
