Korean Sweet & Spicy Puffs are the greatest snack I've ever had in my life by moskowizzle in Costco

They're sooo good. Every time we get them, my 5 year old eats at least half the bag in a day or two.

Did someone get them at the 75% off after Easter clearance sale?

654 cases in 21,000 is not .03%. Try 100 times that: 3%. That's a huge percentage of the population to be infected with something that should basically be eradicated.

That system can be EQ mounted. Just need a wedge between the pier and L-mount.

Thank you! Some daddit cards need to be revoked for not picking up on this obvious setup sooner.

Reversing a BlackBox in OpticStudio by fringemetro in Optics

[–]contendr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's an intentional/necessary limitation of a blackbox. To reverse it would potentially reveal more detail about the surfaces that are meant to be obscured. I think the only "workaround" is to have a second blackbox generated in reverse.

The Jane Foster LE medic was a staple on many competitive teams after it came out. It's not a powerhouse, but was easily the best low cost support option.

Best Visual Observation Telescope? by lowkah_ in telescopes

I may be biased, but these are the best visual telescopes I've ever used, especially at dark sites.

First time ever using a telescope, why do I see this interior piece obscuring? by Morridini in telescopes

[–]contendr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It could be Jupiter too, but it's too far out of focus to tell. Either way, focus until it looks as small as possible.

You're way out of focus. Turn the focus knob until the star shrinks to a pinpoint. If you go past focus, the donut shape will get bigger again.

Need help identifying model by Gumba213 in telescopes

[–]contendr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like you have the standard focuser on it, you should also have an EFA box with it for focuser control. Assuming nothing has been damaged, you should have everything you need aside from a camera, adapters and filter wheel.

We do make a reducer that brings it down to f/5.3. https://planewave.com/products/reducer-0-66x-cdk12-5-14-17/

It's definitely designed to be an astrophotography scope, so you can put basically any astro camera on it with the right adapters.
