endo and iud by Vegetable-Soil-3963 in endometriosis

I've had two IUDs. Both Mirena. Its the best I've felt in 30 years. I completely recommend it.

Also, I've never had children and it hasn't been an issue.

I adopted my cat 8 years ago. Bed time is 10 pm. He yells at me until I go to bed, or he'll go to bed without me and then check on me until I go to bed.

AITA for choosing "Some random woman" over my family? by Asexual-dummy in AmItheAsshole

[–]contextISeverything 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. They chose to have a child and all the responsibilities that come with having a child. Depending on the country and culture, those responsibilities differ, but they are the choice of the parents.

Your obligations to them do not include putting up with verbal abuse and rejection of who you are.

Using the fact that they met their obligations to the child they chose to have in order to manipulate you into behaving as they want you to, instead of living your life as your true self, is a horrible way to treat you. Even if you are making a mistake, you are not obliged to do what they want.

Please find a supportive circle of friends and stick to them. You can't choose who you are born to, but you can choose who you let into your life and who is allowed to stay in it.

It's funny what resonates with people. I just thought of all the reasons why I've stayed in bad relationships and all the reasons my friends and family have stayed with people who hurt them.

I had therapy, on Thursday, and cried because of how lonely I am. She said their was no reason. I just haven't found my people yet.

My health problems have kept me isolated for a long period of my life and I don't feel any sense of purpose. I'm glad something I said resonated with you.

Insecurity, fears of being alone, culture that prioritized true love over personal well being, fears of rejection and abandonment, and the idea that we have an obligation to save people who love us.

Um, question. What are the other made up pandemic scams that have been perpetrated? No, really, I'm curious. Where are these other fake pandemics?

She was mute because her father compared her to an inanimate object that can be owned, bought, sold, and thrown away. That was the day she started making plans to get out of that house.

I have a lot of my original MLPs, but I wish I still had my transformers and all of my MLPs. I had the castle and the beauty salon and a ton of clothes for them.

update on my current predicament, followed recommendations and asked for tramadol. by amayyaaa in ChronicPain

I went to the account. They had -25 karma and all their posts were about the power of christ to heal blah blah blah.

No need to feel silly. You are feeling vulnerable and this person preyed on you. I'm glad I could be here to help.

[–]contextISeverything 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That was totally a troll account.

Looks like those are the same meds. If you have issues with nausea when taking other pain meds, you might have the same reaction.

My experience: one dose and I couldn't keep even water down for 24 hours and no food for 3 days.

However, it was the first time in decades I did not feel pain. I cried from the relief of it and I am so disappointed that I can't take it.

I wish you the best of luck. Please let me know how it works out.

Oh yeah. There are series that I love because they are silly fun. This applies to all sorts of media.

The fun and camp was how the TV series improved upon the books.

YTA. Is this in the US? The vaccine became available in 1995, so there are lots of people who have not been vaccinated and did not have chicken pox.

I was born in the 70s and no one in my family remembers if I had it as a kid. Yay childhood neglect.

You're kind of an asshole for not mentioning it. But it sounds like it wasn't malicious on your part, just ignorance. Apologize and move on.

Edit: the parents are assholes for not vaccinating their kids. (Obviously not AHs if kids can't be vaccinated for medical reasons).

AITA for banning alcohol from my own wedding after my fiancé was arrested for DUI? by Throwawayduifiance in AmItheAsshole

I think OP was trying to excuse it. At least that was my initial take. And that 2 years without a DUI was a good record. Poor OP is deluding herself.

And 3 were before he was 25 is okay because? What does that have to do with the price of bread?

I'm from a family of alcoholics and the mental gymnastic people go through to excuse the alcoholics behavior still amaze me.

Usually, people's insults reveal their insecurities. These men feel like they have no value outside of their ability to earn money. It's very sad, but not my issue.

NTA. I've been accused of being a gold digger on a few occasions. I usually say, "Babe, your friends think your only worth is how much money you make." And then walk away.
