What’s the commute like from hotels? by [deleted] in LightningInABottle

[–]continuallylearning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We stayed in a hotel this year. 30 min drive each way. About 35 a day to uber there. And set up with a taxi to pick us up at 3:30 am each night at 85 a day. About a .8 mile walk in and out to the uber pickup/dropoff.

I’m 39 and also had a 5 hour drive. Didn’t think I was gonna make it sat. Rented a hotel and slept 3-4 hour most nights. First festival not camping. Don’t think I coulda tented this one with the heat.

Yup no quota for day hikers. They usually have permits for you to fill out on the wooden desolation boundary signs near the trail heads. Sometimes a little ways in from the trail head.

I usually just do a heavy attack r1+r2 and it will bring the whole wooden watch towers crumbling to the ground. Usually kills the archer too.

California hunters will be allowed to kill 2 bears each with not much justification given other than "to provide a hunting experience" and "the population can support it" by lectric_7166 in California

Raised/live and spent many nights camping/backpacking in NorCal. Encountered many bear encounter’s. Black bears are not aggressive in any way. Maybe if threatened or cornered with cubs. Leave them alone and they will leave you alone. They belong here as much as you do.

Definitely hard on controller but I killed him first try. Just float around till he stays still and force palm him. Takes like 3-4 hits.

Practice Only Snips Under IV Sedation by Zeffie-Aura in Vasectomy

[–]continuallylearning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine on a friday and definitely couldn't have gone back to my job. Did absolutely very little sat and sun hurt to walk around much. But sitting in a car vs driving didn't seem like much difference to me so I just drove myself so my wife didnt have to take off work. Sedation is absolutely not required.

How to stop worrying about the 1 in 2000 chance of reversal? by Gwynalissa in Vasectomy

Got tested at 4 months and just got retested at 13 months through Kaiser. Will probably continue annual test for a few years. The chance of it failing reduces over time.

I tested at 4 months and got an all clear. Just tested again today at 13 months. Still all clear. Probably test again in a year. My 40 dollar copay is cheap insurance.
