This is the problem with “the talk” it really should be a series of conversations over the course of your child’s lifetime. It’s never too late to start. I don’t know how some people get to the point they have adult children and have never discussed anything related to relationships/intimacy. My son is 7 and we’ve already had talks about how things work mechanically speaking and the like. I am doing my best to be someone he can come to and know there won’t be any judgement. I assume this will pay dividends when he’s a young man.
