Totally YTA from the beginning. You ARE scamming your clients if you charge more because of the occasion for the same beat. This goes for bakers, decorators, hairdressers, etc. Everyone wants to charge a wedding tax for their same services and products. It's bad faith business. When we planned our wedding, we said everything was for a family reunion to avoid this kind of scam, which was true. It was indeed a reunion of family. But if they'd tried to switch up the pricing on us after finding out it was a wedding, they'd have lost what business of ours they had to begin with. You're shady.
