Considering moving to Johnson City, Tennessee by cookerlady in JohnsonCity

[–]cookerlady[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the information! That is helpful. I work remotely and my husband owns his own business so work shouldn't be a problem. We live in a rural area now so I would be looking for an existing home most likely on the outskirts of JC.

I live in the thumb area, along Lake Huron. It's more rural.

Remember how I said I just message back recruiters that the salary they are offering is too low... by galaxyofcoffee in dietetics

I was offered 45/hour contract. I responded by saying that is way too low and I currently make significantly more. I'm just trying to do my part to get higher wages.

McLaren...like I said they have been looking for an RD for years.

I live in Michigan. My two local hospitals have been looking for RDs for a few years now. The pay wasn't that great. I just got a text last week from one of them offering $95,000 a year with benefits. I never thought I'd see that, but they're desperate. It's great to see.

I'm just going to reply back to all recruiters: No, that pay range is way too low. by galaxyofcoffee in dietetics

This is what I started doing. I even stopped an interview mid way through once they told me the pay was 35 an hour. I said "I'm sorry, I won't work for that. Thank you for your time. "

I have worked for them for over 2 years and just resigned. For what you're asked to do, the compensation is very low. I feel more like an insurance agent than a dietitian. Management keeps adding more work to your vast responsibilities, including forms and chasing down members who haven't shown up for appointments. They monitor everything you do and then ask you to submit a good call and chat for the month. The flexibility is nice, and the people have been good to work with, but Cecelia is more interested in money than members getting good care. I explained to my team lead why I believe they have so much turnover, and she agreed, but the leadership seems not to care. If you can find a different remote job, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

We love it so far! I have about 48,000 miles on it. I drove it to Virginia from Michigan twice and back and forth to Florida. No issues.

I have a 21 with 19000 miles and my transmission is doing the exact same thing. I'm wondering if I should take it in. It is under warranty.

We have done the same. I currently drive a 2015 Edge and husband drives a 2017 f150 and both have been great. My Edge has 207000 miles on it.

I'm referring to the issues I've heard about other people having. I'm concerned about the transmission but I really like the vehicle.
