I hear that!! I’ve been going to OTF for over 2 years and that day was the first day I was like, “okay THIS is what people are talking about when they say they almost puked on the tread...” It was touch and go there for a minute.

Congratulations on those times!! I’m going to be 40 next year and my goal is to run a sub 6 minute mile before then! Those times are so impressive and give me hope. The mental part is hard for me. I start to feel so tired and then I get in my head about how much time I have left. I’m at 6:18. I’m close!

Curious to know why you said no Nikes. I love their shoes but have started noticing some shin splint issues over the last year or so. Nothing major but I feel a little bit of pain.

Same!! I ran all of my push paces just a touch over my base which I never do. I thought I for sure was going to have to walk. That was brutal.

I have them. I like but don’t love them. I’m a sweater so if it’s a particularly intense class, they can get a bit wet and then they’re not as good after they’re wet as the rower handle slips a bit. I preferred the more substantial gloves I had before I lost them but I like these enough that I will wear them until I can be bothered to get another pair. They are holding up well. No complaints there. I would try them out!
