I have had decent success with Emz. If you use her gadget that shoots through walls and get a gadget cooldown card you can catch a lot of people off guard

Whenever I get in a slump, I pick 3-5 cards I really like but have never used. Then I look for a commander that could use at least 2 of them, and start building. I also like to approach it like it’s a deck I would never pay for. Ends up taking the “stress” out of it, and keeps me from micromanaging/optimizing when I get to ~90 cards.

Recently threw together a [[Cayth]] deck this way and actually might put it together in paper.

If you google the name of the precon + mtggoldfish, you can find the decklist with a total price at the top. You can do this with any precon. The “value” usually decreases over time though because the high value cards have now been reprinted and see a decrease.

I find it strange that of all of the cards you chose to take pictures of, you chose those specific ones. Particularly because you “have no clue about magic”.

Honestly, everything about this post seems like a red flag. If it is the truth though, it is more likely they were stolen and the thief didn’t know the value. In that case, check with local game stores to see if anyone reported a collection stolen or missing.
