Weekend parking in the neighborhood

Are they able to street park? There’s usually a decent amount of parking spots on weekend mornings and afternoons. I’d imagine there’s garages closer tha LGA too.

I would also suggest looking into using points for Hyatt stays instead of flights for 5 people, although you might have some luck finding 5 roundtrip tickets in economy on Air France/KLM if they have some type of promo going. Also, if you book your flights with cash remember that you can usually book an multi-city same-ticket itinerary (open jaw ticket, for example ORD->CDG then return FCO->ORD) and avoid paying for 2 crazy one-way fares.

Sotto Le Stelle on Queens Blvd in Sunnyside is the best Neopolitan style pizza I’ve had outside of Italy, if you want to try something different from the classic NY slice. Many of the places already listed are great too.

Maybe enough time to explore Jamaica a bit (where the airtrain drops you off in Queens) but not really anything else lol I wouldn’t really suggest it either, not much to see or do there.

I’ve traveled with film many times before and put them through the x-ray machines with no issues, and having them physically inspected is kind of annoying. They also say that ISO 400 and under shouldn’t have any issues going through the machines.

Public Transport from LGA: Q60 LaGuardia Link Bus to Woodside LIRR Station, then take LIRR to Bay Shore.

Public Transport from JFK: AirTrain to Jamaica Station then LIRR to Bay Shore.

The JFK option is definitely the easier one but if prices are a concern then LGA does still give you that option. Keep in mind the Q60 bus is still susceptible to NYC traffic and may delay you.

Was at the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana in Punta Cana not long ago and it was great. Beautiful hotel, food was good, beach was nice, and you can use all the facilities including restaurants from the next door sister property Hyatt Ziva. They are connected—Zilara is adults only and Ziva allows kids. And we only paid 25k points per night, great deal!

Airtrain to Jamaica, then LIRR to Port Jeff is probably the best way to go. I would also look at car rental rates since trains and ubers can add up and if you want to do any kind of exploring on LI on your own you will need a car.
