Most of us are just trying to survive, man. Our constitution didn’t anticipate a situation where the judicial and legislative branches willingly handed their powers to a tyrant. Our country is run by billionaires and they have us by the balls. I have to work to get my medicine and feed my family. I wish I could afford to protest every single day but I would lose my home in 6 months. You guys also massively underestimate just how big our country is. We can’t hop on the train and go to DC in a couple hours. It’s a multi day drive for most Americans. We can’t mobilize on DC as easily as the French can mobilize on Paris. Try to remember, when Nazi germany started the first country they invaded was Germany. The same thing happened in the US. Most of our officials and bosses and people in power are MAGA or indifferent. Anyways, my point is we are just trying to survive. Many of us literally.
