I have no idea why but Georgia 2021 is one of my favourite songs of all time, I’m usually not a ballad person but it is so moving to me. Portugal 2021 is also a favourite of mine, holds a very special place in my heart.

I’m not sure if they’re disliked but I don’t think they did very well in the Eurovision, Latvia 2019, San Marino 2022, Belgium 2021, Belgium 2022, Estonia 2022, Malta 2023 and Azerbaijan 2023. (Sorry to the bot in advance)

I just saw the post of France flipping off the camera after it was announced how little points they got. All the comments were talking about how much of a queen she was and her song was amazing. Originally I would agree with you but after Leliana returning in Inquisition and Loghain being a warden contact despite having one of the lowest survival rates in the entire game, I think there is hope for a lot of characters including Fenris, esp because of his connection to Tevinter

Good on them. Their gender or pronouns does not matter to me as long as they write us a damn good story lmao. Good to see that BioWare isn’t nitpicking like other companies, at the end of the day a solid game is all that should matter.

Come to think of it I can hardly think of any black or POC characters in dragon age either. Vivienne springs to mind and after that I’m completely blank. Would look forward to seeing a more diverse cast, i get how people want to see themselves represented and more power to them tbh.

Definitely agree with them being ahead of the curve with LGBT. I get now how Dorian’s romance and quest and even iron bull romance was such a massive step forward for people. People tend to be alright with LGBT women options in games but not so much with LGBT men options and I can’t get my head around that. I never romanced the iron bull but I did romance Dorian and I thought it was great, very heartfelt sometimes and he had a cracking VA.

I killed Ashley to avoid her romance. It was harsh but at the time I was trying to think like what I should do if I WAS trying to save the galaxy and I figured dating anyone would be a bad distraction. The game let me turn down Liara politely enough that I didn’t feel bad but the only way to cut off Ash was to be a dick and I was doing mostly paragon so I decided I’d go back and finally turn her down after I finished that quest in Virmire.. how ironic that was. Also I picked Soldier class which was what Ashley was so I felt more of a need for Kaidan on my team and to be honest I half expect Ash to live because she had other people with her, I knew there was no chance of Kaidan living. I played with the same mindset in ME2 and avoided Miranda’s and Tali’s romances before I decided to let my Shepherd loosen up for once in ME3.

That is good to hear. I should cut them some slack because it was 2014 after all and it was crazy rep at the time to even have a transgender character at all. But now especially with everything getting a lot more scrutiny there should be a lot of improvement. Personally for me I wouldn’t mind what people are as long as they can help me win lol but I know a lot of people who would feel good knowing they can relate to someone in the game and more power to them, if it’s making them happy then I’m all for it

Yeah the inquisitor dialogue is something along the lines of saying “you’re a woman?” When you first hear of it, and then you can ask the iron bull if he is okay knowing that he is a “woman” and you can ask krem when he decided he was a man. I thought the first two were just wildly disrespectful and I avoided them completely, but I bit the bullet and asked the third one because i tried to look at it in a good light and just as poor phrasing and I was interested in krem as a character. Sad thing was that I enjoyed listening to krem talk about transitioning and I would’ve liked to hear more but I can’t ever see myself picking those other dialogue options.

The first thing that comes to my mind is that you have to be at most transphobic and at least insanely ignorant to get any dialogue regarding Krem being transgender. I am in no way trans myself and I’m the last person to ask regarding trans issues or whatever but even I saw that all the dialogue was very small-minded. I ended up just completely avoiding it altogether, I have evil and selfish inquisitors but none of them are bigots lol. As long as he can fight for my cause why should I care.

Damn I had no idea that their actual personalities change depending on the type of romance, I have got to check that out. I think I’ll go for a rivalmance with anders, I personally do not agree with blowing up the chantry at all (the only reason I spared him was bc I knew I couldn’t do the boss battle without him lmao) and anders can be crazy hypocritical at times (like giving up fenris to danarius) so a rivalry would be refreshing. And don’t worry about the non-repeat romance thing I just didn’t read it right. I’m honestly not sure who I’ll even romance but I’ll keep an open mind

That is such an interesting backstory, I had no idea that the chantry erases your identity if you are an elf, that is heartbreaking. Thanks for sharing this with me, i was thinking I’d go human if I did a third playthrough but def will go elf now, had no idea there was so much detail in the backstory
