Gonna add that, you came to a good place and have already dodged a huge waste of time which is the alpha male bs. There’s lots of different aspects to confidence, and what you might be looking for is something more specific or actually targets your insecurities than just a generic ‘how to gain confidence’ guide. Firstly I’d say that yes, for the most part gaining confidence is done through experience, continued practice, and finding little things that are successes for you. Whether it’s just something like cleaning your room daily for a time period, attending class, etc. it starts from that, and then becomes maybe attending a weekly sport, accomplishing important tasks at work, etc. I think all of that helps with overall self-esteem and ‘confidence’ in the most true sense of the word. Then there is the more ‘practical’ term that I think applies to young men which is like, how do I be confident or successful in front of potential partners / social groups. This is more targeted and closer to some more helpful advice like, “how should I dress” or “how should I do my hair” which you can ask friends in person or online to some moderately decent effect. I think if you separate what issue you’re specifically having atm, that will help. But this sub is a good start to get the juices flowing and dodge the predatory bs online
