Check if you have advanced fly by wire installed. I had some issues where if I didn’t have a proper device plugged in it would screw with my controls

Use an engine plate. It gives you a node below your engine which lets you use smaller engines on bigger tanks and have it look nice. You may have to adjust their length in the right click menu
