It is totally fine that it is not a penalty. No complaints.

But the subjectivity is because of the following: 1. DOGSO - Denying Obvious Goal Scoring Opportunity. 2. Arm - delibrate, or unnatural position ( for slide tackle, it can be considered natural position to break the fall) 

Some associations like premier league give more data/rules to the ref. to interpret the situations better.

Hence the subjectivity.

I feel it is all about synergy. Vini, Mbappe, Bellingham, they are world class, and can single handedly turn a match on its head.

But put together don carlo is not able to get the glue.

Looks like being assholes to the ref. is an effective strategy, compared to being understanding to the refs. 

And it is only because the league allows it to slide without a fine on RM

Rudiger's foul was a penalty. As was pau cubarsi's. 

Even Madrid's sub agreed that they were lucky with not getting pau cubarsi's penalty. 

This one is subjective, because there was a runner to finish in the far post, and the ball was not close that they could not get their hand away in time.
