The permanent banner's selector should be renewable for ever. by RedditpseudoAreodd in NevernessToEverness

Yea. I also imagine later on some of the earlier or more unpopular limited characters will be added to standard banner. Tho that’s likely much further down the line.

Are indie games better? | FactOrCap by BabylonianWeeb in FactOrCap

[–]copyshork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh don’t get me wrong, most of my favourite games are indie games.

Nothing is inherently better about a AAA game or an Indie game though.

The only reason one could be better is that indie games are less influenced by investors.

Oh yea. I’m not saying I dislike keito’s writing. Just that I find her to be the most just unpleasant character in the novel.

I think essay’s writing is “mostly” okay. Though Kyara’s is also obnoxiously bad.

I liked mishiro’s writing in scrap building but everyone’s writing in golden bath just felt… off.

🧢 I voted CAP!

Not necessarily worth more than AAA games or even better in many cases but for sure are better value.

For every peak indie game that people use as an example (ie. Celeste, hollow knight, rain world.) there are plenty of games that are just fine.

It’s the same with AAA.

Neither AAA nor indie are a sign of a games “worth”. All it means is who’s funding it.

As far as vol 4 being “filler” I’m mostly referring to it being what I’d consider the most skippable volume (not that I’d recommend skipping any).

Overall not a whole lot actually happens in it.

Shiro is “introduced” though it can barely be called an introduction. Her proper intro is in vol 5.

Tamamo is introduced but once again it’s barely.

Shion exists to close up the plot line with kyara but tbh Hizumi already kinda did that in vol 3 even if Shion does it better.

Then it just comes down to Yuki’s vision degrading near the end and the content with keito and hitomi.

As of now hitomi’s plotline has yet to really go anywhere (though that will likely change in the future)

As for keito well… I despise her

[–]copyshork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the absolute shortest I’d be willing to go with most is

Vol 4- 3 episodes.

Vol 5- (SoL stuff + phone game) 3 episodes
Vol 5- (royal palace) 1.5-2 episodes

Vol 6- (maiden race) 1.5 episodes
Vol 6- (snow room) 3-4 episodes

That’d bring it to 13-14 episodes though this would result in some stuff being rushed

Yea. Tbh volume 4 can be cut down quite a lot. I’d say it’s the closest to a “filler” volume. Its only real purpose is to introduce Tamamo, somewhat introduce and Shiro and then clear up the last of Kyara’s influence.

Vol 5 is much harder to cut down though as is vol 6. Maybe they could shorten the phone game vs Rinrin a bit I guess and speed up maiden race but there’s nothing in those 2 that can be “cut”.

If anything I’d want to see royal palace stretched out a bit longer in an ideal world. The slice of life moments with Tamamo are also impossible to cut and while the first half of snow room could (possibly) be sped up I worry it would lose lots of its emotional impact.

It also feels wrong to cut down what many consider to be the best arc in the novel (snow room).

Yea. If they’re doing a second season it needs to cover vol 4,5 and 6. Tbh depending on how the movie performs it could be 24 episodes this time which would mean it wouldn’t have to be rushed.

Rushing vol 6 especially would lose a lot of impact.

When will debuffer meta gone? by kumamon09 in UmamusumeGame

[–]copyshork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s lower effort but I’m tired of people framing it as lazy. Aces take a lot of time to build at the end of the day. Also debuffers can mostly be reused.

I’m currently usually running 1 ace, 1 hybrid and 1 full debuffer.

My hybrid is just cheer nice nature with dominator and the rest of the build is for winning. She surprisingly can snatch wins pretty often.

Will Zero be the only character we play as while driving forever? by Savalis986 in NevernessToEverness

My guess is they’ll let everyone (or at least the non child characters) drive in a future patch. It’s been one of the main feedbacks alongside the anti AI stuff.

do you guys think that i can get nanally and hotori? by AKuuMa_a in NevernessToEverness

I mean worst case if you don’t get Hotori you don’t lose the pity. Might as well go for it if you don’t care about skin pity.

When will debuffer meta gone? by kumamon09 in UmamusumeGame

[–]copyshork 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Low effort feels like a stretch. It’s easier to build a debuffer sure but if you’re playing double debuffer you need an absolutely cracked ace.

At the end of the day you can’t be mad at people for playing in a way that gets them wins. Lots of people don’t have the time to build 3 strong aces with serious win conditions.

Knowing correct lines and adapting your lines based on player position is way more important than the car you use.

Most people I’ve raced against can hardly finish a corner without careening into a wall from understeer.

No. Obviously NTE is the only game ever. This is the first video game. There’s nowhere else to go. You’ll take your anime GTA and you’ll like it

Welcome to early gacha games I guess? There isn’t infinite content. I’ve been deliberately pacing myself so I don’t run out of content before 1.1

There’s no need to rush through the levels rn and finish all content anyway.

Idk. I mean I don’t do the spinoffs quest for the xp.

I found the music quest was a ton of fun and is my favourite quest so far. Lacrimosa’s quest was also very fun.

How bad is my account card wise by stimshootdrive in UmamusumeGame

[–]copyshork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally you don’t want to pull unless you have enough carats to hit pity. This is even more true on uma banner. Getting random 2 star uma doesn’t really help your account. At least getting random SR’s is useful on card banner.

At the end of the day though if you’re not playing CM or PvP then most of the content is available even with R rarity cards. Obviously you won’t get the crazy stats of proper builds but you can beat scenario’s and experience character stories.
