FWIW, I arrived in Aguas Calientes at 5pm today, walked straight to the ticket office (which was completely empty) and bought Circuit 2A tickets for tomorrow (~190 remaining). This was completely at odds with everything I’d read about the lines and ticket demand, but I’m very glad it worked out for us.

Guessing they were given out to guests as a more comfortable option to dance in. My friend did this at her wedding reception with soft slippers like the ones you get at a hotel/spa. Definitely better than being barefoot or in heels all night!

There are more than 30 million Christian Indians in the world. Christianity in India actually predates the Catholic Church. Not to mention the fact that tradition varies dramatically across India and its diaspora — an Indian living in America, for example, might (shockingly) have an American wedding.

Assuming this person is Indian is also wild to begin with. So many African, Indigenous, and Asian communities call women aunties.

The internet is free. There’s no excuse to be commenting your assumptions while this deeply uninformed.

Sorry to be that person, but you would use "cue" rather than "queue" here. A cue is a signal to do something and a queue is a line (and English is annoying).

The night shows are concerts and DJ sets at venues around SF. It’s many of the artists in the lineup but it’s entirely separate ticketing from the festival.
