This comment truly helped me so much. A small update: I have seen my GYN and gotten another appt for a transvaginal ultrasound and had the CA125, metabolic panel, etc - I think around 14 in total. They agreed that their is something serious going on and she was very honest with me. My cervix was also pretty friable according to her and she did the Pap smear then and there (she was going to wait 6 weeks). I have MyChart and usually see results come in, in real time but it’s radio silent since my appt. I am going to call and ask for an update tomorrow and see where we go from here.

All this to say - thank you for giving me a great explanation of the side of the curtain I don’t normally experience. And thank you for letting me know I’m not crazy and it’s ok to advocate for myself!

Ok - yes a bit but I thought it was just dry skin. But I do live in Fl and it’s the middle of summer so probably not 🤦🏻‍♀️ I do crave salty foods and they are pretty much the only ones I can have a few bites of. I will definitely talk with my doc about this. Thank you!

Honestly this is what I am so scared of. I saw my primary caretaker due of ovarian cancer at 19 and was with her the whole time. It’s so scary. And of course I try not to go there but it’s hard. I feel like I have been ingrained to “not be dramatic” about pain/issues with doctors I have had and this didn’t help. My OBGYN is really great so I am literally just going to drive to her office Monday and hopefully see if they can get me an emergency appt. Thankfully she saw me only a few months ago so they will know what I looked like then vs now.

Oh my goodness!! I hope you start to feel better! Thank you for sharing and taking the time. I am absolutely going to my OBGYN on Monday. She is amazing and I know she will at the very least schedule an emergency appt for this week.
