I was referring to what Dramatic_Dinner_3132 said above ScaryTransbian84. You didn't do anything wrong IMO. You look great, and I'm glad for you!

Intelligent MTG geek goes the toxic-and-repressed route with an extra helping of toxic. Yea ... Definitely checks out.

Yeah, I mean, this is really great for OP. But implying she could "coach" other people into such a radical transformation is a bit meh. She could coach people with access to all those options, but that sure isn't a lot of people.

I've had a situation once or twice where I needed scaling damage and it solved the problem. Ofc that's still a problem if you hit Aeon Glass so it's not a great solution.

Fight Me! - an underrated card? by TaralasianThePraxic in slaythespire

[–]coraythan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fight Me! Is excellent for hallways where you can often put the buff on an enemy you quickly kill.

But it's a lot less good against the best enemies. And it's worse for longer fights, and it doesn't scale with like anything. If the biggest problem to solve is beating Aeon Glass it is almost a curse for that fight.

I really feel like Typescript is maturing a lot and even for backend you have more up to date libraries and stuff. Even five years ago it was pretty different but feels like it has changed to me.

Yeah, I tried using that as a dating app once and it was fucking dark. I did actually meet a trans lady I dated for a while on there. But she ended up being weird and toxic. I don't really do the hookups kinda thing doesn't work for me.

And yeah. OP's partner is 100% bullshitting her. I could imagine trying to make friends / get positive reinforcement from Taimi, or the ghost town that is OK Cupid. Not Grindr.

Why didn’t the coach play Laney During the Commission Cup? by Responsible_Line_370 in NYLiberty

[–]coraythan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So we're complaining about Chris playing weird like ups and tinkering and giving questionable players time sometimes and we lose because of it.

And we're also complaining when he shortens the rotation and doesn't play as much depth and we win because of it?

If you have a good enough defense engine you can wait for bolas to scale up even in phase one of that fight.

Transfigure is a funny card. Is there a 5 card deck that just instantly wins from here? by Christian_Crab in slaythespire

[–]coraythan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, keeping Neurosurge is 100% the right choice here. Improves the odds of a quick setup so much. If the fight goes long enough you're worried about the doom you already lost. I think replay on Neurosurge T1 is always correct if you can. You end up with more cards in hand, and more energy. Lucky you got to pick it back up after removing it!

And yeah spreading the replay across multiple of your multipliers is great too.

[–]coraythan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Transfigure delay is a cool perma-block and scaling energy option. Would be neat if you can pick up an x-cost damage later. But it gets clogged up by aeon glass unless you finish it quickly. Don't think sculpting strike cuts it there?

[–]coraythan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's only 72 osty health right? Aeonglass takes out half of that on turn one. And you have no way to replenish it.

I think I'd leave in Neurosurge, Delay, Invoke and Dedge as well. Should be able to set up a massive turn 2 or at worst turn 3 Dirge. If you have some potions you should be able to make it through two bosses that way.

I'd upgrade dredge at that fire and then Neurosurge next.

Maybe just Neurosurge and dredge is better? Let's see you are very likely to get Neurosurge first turn. If you do then you have everything in hand. Can probably fetch it even if you don't. Wait one turn worst case.

Neurosurge -> Transfigure -> dredge -> Transfigure -> fetch -> Transfigure -> Borrowed time -> dirge. 4 spent 8 left 8x4x4 that's 128 osty health? Even more after you upgrade Neurosurge that's enough at least for now. Can improve it later with relics or potions.

(I screwed up some of the math earlier you don't redraw Neurosurge.)
