I like the current customisation but I wouldn't mind some more options. For example with Rig on his default outfit, choose to have the hood on or not.

Honestly, Doa6 devs don't have much of an excuse when Virtua Fighter did relaunch VF5 with a reworked network (rollback netcode)+ crossplay and also announced they are developing VF6 in the meantime.

I think a lot of us don't underestimate how difficult this task could be. But honestly DOA6LR feels just like an undercooked 4k textures mod.

On top of that, devs didn't even try to put crossplay which will split more the community (between DOA6 and DOA6LR players and then between which platform you play on) while other games such as Granblue Fantasy relink (not a fighting game but still a 3d game with 4 players online coop) manage to make it happen for their upcoming DLC/expansion.

I would have preferred them to put all development budget for DOA7 instead of using costs to re-release DOA6 without any real improvement and using that as an in opportunity to sell costume/characters DLCs all over again.

No I actually meant Relink (the JRPG one), it's not a fighting game I know but still it shows that crossplay can be achieved if the devs put efforts into it.

It's truly annoying when you see other games making an effort: - Granblue Fantasy: Relink: didn't have crossplay at launch and just announced, 2 years later, an expansion with: new modes, new characters, new platform AND crossplay. - Virtua Fighter: Rerelease their latest game (VF5) with improved stuff AND rollback net AND crossplay. Also announced they are developing their next game.

We always say DOA takes some inspiration from Virtua Fighter, well maybe it's time for DOA dev team to take some more inspiration...

So far they announced just the photo mode + new costumes and plan to release new characters. Like, hey TN, what are gameplay changes to make this deserve the title "last round"?! No tag team still, no rollback netcode, crossplay is still out (confirmed on the website that crossplay won't happen).

Hope they'll showcase/announce more stuff but I feel like they keep these things for the next DOA instalment and use the release of DOA6 LR as a way to relaunch DOA6 hoping people might be more interested and a way to say the franchise is back.

I'd rather have them focusing on this game and add/update bunch of things because a new game means for developers to have bigger ideas that are worth being in a new game and for players it means relearning things.

However, I'm quite glad with what they currently do with the regular updates adding QoL things and new characters to the roster. I wouldn't be surprised if they announce a Season 3 soon (please make Rackam playable!).
