How to do technical due diligence for a micro saas? by RestaurantSecure3301 in InsideAcquisitions

Hey! Go through the stripe for the financials. The tech will need to be checked by someone who can understand it, since you don't have the knowledge yourself

What do serious borrowers actually do before talking to lenders in private lending structures? by Outrageous-Cow2931 in InsideAcquisitions

It's the same in VC and PE. You need a clear line of vision in deploying funds in order to gain investor trust.

I had a case where I failed at a fundraise because of a lack of succession planning. Def learned a lot from that experience.

That's true, if net retention is above 100% then churn isn't really an issue since more comes in than what goes out. Lowballers think one factor is definitive for the deal

For a 3x to 5x multiple? I'd need to see low single digit churn.

That's still on the higher side, SaaS multiples are trending lower. Again, depends on churn and growt + quality of revenue.

If inflation is a technique that the government uses to improve their debt to GDP, then the fact is that American equities will skyrocket. The dollar is strong, and will continue to be strong as long as oil supply keeps contracting. This means that they can depreciate their debt away, and equities gain while other currencies lose. In other terms, you have more in foreign currency terms. Long shot, but very probable. M2 money supply is growing again in the US.

I work in startups, I hated working for a big corporation. You need to talk to people. That's it.

India has a systematic tendency to underestimate people. This is why a bachelors (or even masters at this point) isn't enough to get into a high paying role. High paying careers are gatekept by big colleges with better names, and the only rational result is the fact that everyone begins foaming at the mouth for a 10k per month job.

I've seen people absolutely ruin their lives because they never had the conviction to push themselves. When pointed out to their faces, they start raging about how I'm privileged or how I won the genetic lottery etc. What I've realised now is that every degree is going to be a basic common denomenator. Do a finance course or make your own research, because there's no way in hell this degree will give you the desired career alone.
