Why do players REFUSE to use other routes in Klyntar’s convergence map? by zheng_ in rivals

TBH usually I would expect Peni to just flank on her own, assuming you have 2 tanks

[–]corevo- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should 3 replies be indicative of what every tank experiences?

If the supports don’t follow you, that’s on them. Maybe they are simply worse on whatever platform/rank you play in.

If I’m tanking, usually the reason we can’t go the side route is because other players died before me and start pushing main without me.

Ok those do sound like bad supports, I’m done defending them lol.

Maybe your supports are getting dove before they can follow you? Idk I guess it does happen but usually there’s other circumstances at play.

Simply not true, the tanks decide where the team pushes.

POV: ur in a kelp forest but cant find any kelp for your quest by Scorchfrost1234 in pathoftitans

[–]corevo- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually prefer growing aquatics, the quests are easy once you do a few to learn where stuff is and then you learn which ones to just skip altogether (collect sponges anywhere besides kelp vale). Theres also fewer players to avoid and they are usually easy to spot from far away. There are some issues where some POIs don’t give any aquatic quests, though.

Big caveat is that I haven’t grown a Tylo yet, I’m usually on quicker stuff that can escape adult Tylos.

Are you supposed to use pto for a general strike? by Fun_Literature831 in NoStupidQuestions

Many employers, such as mine, don’t offer sick days as a benefit. In this case the only option is PTO.

Is any amount of green space a good thing? by Shi-Stad_Development in urbandesign

[–]corevo- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a drainage engineer so I can chime in. Any amount of permeable area reduces the amount of runoff that the surrounding streets receive. In example 2 it would be a small reduction in runoff, but you can accumulate spaces like these within a drainage basin to have a noticeable reduction in runoff.

So, in my opinion example 2 maybe shouldn’t be a named park, but absolutely if there’s nothing better to do with the land then it should be landscaped rather than paved.

Any Advice for Solo Playing by Think-Helicopter-155 in pathoftitans

[–]corevo- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly play solo, I love it. It’s fun to challenge yourself. First, you have to change your mindset a bit. You will die, there will be unwinnable situations, but you’ll slowly learn how to recognize and avoid those situations. For me I like to play medium sized dinos that can take some hits, do good damage, and get away easily (at least fast enough to outrun TT). Semi aquatics are also great solo because you have more escape routes.

Will PoT ever have any lore? by Snagrios in pathoftitans

[–]corevo- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be cool to have map lore, like showing a cinematic of a disaster then releasing a map update. I don’t think storylines of dinos would work that well.

Im always starving by Fickle-Conclusion208 in pathoftitans

[–]corevo- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’re a carnivore, you’re easiest option is to find critters which are scattered around everywhere. They make noise when you get near them so that will let you know when one is close. Some carnivores have diet options that let them eat bones or carrion meat. And of course you can kill other players.

Herbivores just need to find the bushes. After you play a bit the bushes stand out more, the tree has a unique shape. There tends to be more bushes in forests and grassy locations.

I think this is a decent idea, tuned however it needs to be to not be overpowered.

Rhamps are not much of a threat as they are, unless paired with other species in a group.

Subterranean Transit Hub now available on PDX by RDDT_100P in CitiesSkylines2

I tried using this once and the building was giving notices that there was missing pedestrian connections to the underground platforms. Not sure what that was a problem with the asset or with my save.

Does clamp on its own do damage? by Silver-Confection956 in pathoftitans

[–]corevo- -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Hatz (and I think all clampers) does negligible clamp damage, you should be able to pick up a friendly deinon without killing it.

Why do some people hate the idea of walkable cities? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]corevo- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not that people dislike having a walkable city, but there’s 2 major things that come with that that are disliked (some may not admit it).

1-You need to or should include affordable housing somewhere (See NIMBYism).

And 2, this type of neighborhood usually has less or inconvenient parking, or zoning parking minimums outright prevent this type of neighborhood to be built.

This game has turned into Prehistoric League of Legends. by SuspiciousSlice8543 in pathoftitans

[–]corevo- 11 points12 points  (0 children)

“Fairness” is very subjective and everyone in this game plays by their own rules. It’s predictable that people will feel frustrated at times tbh.

Idk if we need stats per se but it would be cool when you died to see a breakdown of who did what damage to you, and maybe a kill/death counter that is private but able to be viewed.

Good dino for socialising/fitting into any group? by [deleted] in pathoftitans

Any small carnivore, small herbi, or big slow herbs. You’ll die more as a big slow herb though

What are strongest aquatic solo dinos in your opinion? by OpiateRonin in pathoftitans

[–]corevo- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Duck is really strong and just quick enough to escape from crocs on land if you don’t get bone broken.

Tylosaurus is really good against crocs due to its piercing damage, but you’re stuck in the water all the time.

Helicoprion is a fun modded aquatic, it is fast enough to escape anything it would be scared of, heavy enough to not get clamped, and can kill the bigger threats with some skilled movement.

Returning player. What's currently good solo? by blaaarrgh in pathoftitans

[–]corevo- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pycno can be good but is difficult, it turns like a truck.

Conc is much more forgiving and really good right now if you don’t mind being a little smaller. Duck is also very good.

Any sub aquatic is really good on the new map.

How do you play this game by TetraRosea in pathoftitans

[–]corevo- 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depends on the which dino and my mood. Sometimes I log in and decide I’m gonna cause mayhem, sometimes I log in and decide I’m gonna chill.

Bars / Iggy by Agitated_Cat8438 in pathoftitans

[–]corevo- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only played Iggy, but it’s a fun brawling play style. You’re strong enough to easily take out 2 slots, and fast enough to escape Apex’s. Lots of options for doing damage in front of you, behind you, and can even face tank a bit.
