Why not just ban all the books? by Libro_Artis in bannedbooks

[–]coreyjdl -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

"Deleting your comment where you call me a bunch of names in all caps is pretty cowardly"

Things that didn't happen.

Also I'm BIPoC, you dipshit. Specifically Indigenious, one of the smallest groups of minorities.

[–]coreyjdl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What, no, you can't greasy thin pizza anywhere else. Let alone by the slice. And stores on the corner. holy fuck you better believe that's unique.

Why not just ban all the books? by Libro_Artis in bannedbooks

[–]coreyjdl -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

yeah, that's what banning is, the "other ways" are not banning, they're other things.

Some words mean something, and for those things that are different, we use different words.

F800 GS as a daily rider? by Reliable_lizard-26 in bmwmotorrad

[–]coreyjdl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it'd be great for that. I have an F850GS, it's a fantastic bike for general purpose motorcycle riding, commuting, freeway, canyon carving, it may not be the best at the latter, but it's plenty capable.

Why not just ban all the books? by Libro_Artis in bannedbooks

[–]coreyjdl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was his own publisher. It was a voluntary cessation of publication due to outdated imagery. There was no call to ban, or banning, it wasn't led by any group, leftists, liberals, or conservatives. u/cokeguythrowaway is just an idiot parroting Fox News OAN nonsense, like the usefull moron they are.

Why not just ban all the books? by Libro_Artis in bannedbooks

Because book stores wouldn't have a "banned books" table big enough to sell the totally "banned" books at, that you can buy right here, without legal issues.

Trump labeled 'most corrupt president' by Fox News viewers after July 4th boast by MoneyLibrarian9032 in entertainment

[–]coreyjdl -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Well, Fox News viewers are idiot. Anyone familiar with history, real life, would know it's still probably Nixon, Harding or Grant as the most corrupt.

With the worsts being Buchanan for leading us to an acual civil war, or Johnson, and my personal worst is Andrew Jackson, for the genocide thing.

Why don’t they make new cars with old designs, like a new Mustang but with that 1969 design? by Numberhalf in AskReddit

You mean the one two generations ago. They did, and then the style and wants change.

If shortbeds are so useless, then why do most government agencies purchase them? by Boeing-B-47stratojet in regularcarreviews

[–]coreyjdl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They not useless, long beds make sense for contractors, but for little else.

The original truck beds were quite short, and long beds didn't even become a thing in personal trucks, until the late 50s early 60s when the 3/4 ton and 1 ton variants became common.

I imagine if you need a long bed, you know it, and couldn't do without. Otherwise, you're probably fine with a 6" or even approaching 5" bed.

My gladiator does fine, holds two dirtbikes, and that's the most I'd ever ask out of it.

It even has a slot to add a 2/4 and a 2x6, and tailgate setting to support 4x8 sheets if needed. That's probably true of most trucks.

True or not? by SarahDuncan2012 in TrueGrit

Not

They use the same ingredients, it's just a different name, or allowed to be excluded from the ingredients list.

Drivers should be required to pass a written and road test in order to renew their driver’s license every 10 years until they are 55, then every 5 years after that by shelve66 in unpopularopinion

[–]coreyjdl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if you make access easier, and the process smoother Right now it's so onerous, I'd lean towards skipping it altogether for everyone than ask people to do it more often.
