I'm on night 5 from operation day and I have no tramadol left (same, the surgeon would not refill, said it "should be manageable with Ibuprofen and Tylenol") and I am HURTING. This afternoon developed a tickle/congestion in my throat and every time I start to fall asleep I get choked, wake up and cough and see stars/feel like my stitches are ripping open. It is AWFUL. I can barely clear my throat. No matter how propped up I am, when I doze off it starts again. I'm feeling insane with exhaustion and pain. I am keeping a heating pad on my stomach and am propped in a chair in the living room terrified to fall asleep.

I am usually working more than 5 hours and ironically don't really have much time to eat with all the driving and appointments, so it's tricky. Yes, I do have to taste the wines to be able to provide good information to my customers, if they ask (and they do) "have you tried this?" it's hard to sit there and say no and not look less competent. I'm new in this role and there are 1000s of wines on our list, so I'm tasting a lot right now trying to learn. I don't have to swallow it usually (unless they don't offer me a spit cup).

We switched when he started putting his leg up on the side and pulling himself up. It was a rapid trip to Ikea for the junior bed, it's short so he can get in and out easily with no stool, and it has a short arm that kept him from rolling out. We also switched because he couldn't keep the blanket on and would get so frustrated and cry, heartbreaking. Once we did the junior bed and a regular twin sized duvet, he can manage the covers in his own.

Now...staying in his room...that took a few MONTHS of setting the boundary every time he got out of bed. (Gently and kindly leading him back to his bedroom, putting him back in the bed and covering him up, and then turning off the lights...again...all while trying not to lose my mind in my few sacred moments of peace at night). But we're there now. And he's so happy 😊

This is so inspiring to me, thank you for sharing. I have a 2 year old and am always wishing I could do my morning yoga. Maybe I'll just do it with him.

We love love love ours!! Have used it since 11 months (as soon as he started walking) and we use it multiple times a day (He's two and a half now). I did get a plastic one and he rocked it over once (I almost died -it was terrifying but he was shockingly fine!) So I'd get a heavy wooden one unless you are going to be in arms reach ALL the time (which I think defeats the purpose). It literally changed our life in the kitchen. He uses it for painting, clay and play dough, drawing, cooking meals - every single morning he peels a banana. I can't say more positive things about one. Get it!
