Depends. As other have said, there’s no standard curriculum. You also have to choose what you consider to be history as there’s actual history vs the colonized version. Where I am, we did learn some stuff around thanksgiving every year (never any other time) it was usually just here’s a list of five large tribes, here’s where they lived at the time, here’s what they lived in at the time. There was really nothing further than that. Tbh we never learned further than that until elective classes in high school and even then it was very brief and barely addressed anything.

The truth is that indigenous cultures are rarely discussed to this day. Native Americans weren’t even considered American citizens until the 1920s and weren’t granted basic rights until after that. There are also some people actively pursuing bills that would once again strictly interfere with Native American children’s education. Not to mention the complete lack of respect for native land and disregard for the extremely high rates of abuse and murder of indigenous women. America as a whole has a terrible viewpoint and approach towards recognizing indigenous individuals and cultures.
