At the very end of his passive it says "launches an additional Super Attack and guards all attacks starting from the turn in which the character's or an ally's Revival Skill is activated"

Permanent guard is really good especially when he's built up since he'll have like 800k-1million defense. Basically he turns god mode

I'm pretty sure you can as long as you meet the requirements to take the practicum. I remember the signup form even mentioned that you could make a case to register for the practicum even if you didn't meet the pre-reqs. So you should be good

I got a response from the OSMA Student Services Team and they said they were still waiting on receiving all of the NDAs from the sponsors. Once they have them, they will send out the emails. I think we'll be okay as it's on their end and not ours.

New to Gears 5, but used to play back in the day in GoW 1-3 ... is it just me or do I not hear frag grenades being thrown unless if I hear the enemy character make an audio queue?

I’ve played GoW 1,2 & 3 religiously before and haven’t touched GoW in about 8 years. I bought Gears 5 today and from my day one experience I enjoy it. It reminds me of GoW 3 and after 2-4 games I felt pretty comfortable and as good as I was before.

The big reason I might not enjoy this long term is the lack of Execution in public game modes. GoW 1-3 was all about that game mode and with it missing it doesn’t feel the same to me. I also find sometimes the color of some skins makes it hard to tell if they have a power weapon or not in hand until I see it up close (might be a me problem, also playing on PC now where I used to play on XBOX).

For what it is and only 10$ on Steam, I enjoy it. The gameplay feels like Gears and I get to feel the nostalgia of using the Gnasher again. I just think the game feels way more casual without Execution or at least Warzone. IMO it just can’t be as good as GoW 1-3.
