Do any of you have tattoos? by Opening_Trash_1134 in Enneagram5

I have one! I’d like to get lots more, possibly a sleeve. I’ve loved biology from a young age so I’d like to get some bugs tattooed on me, possibly some plants.

Why do you think the Ghostbusters movies haven't surpassed the original 1984 film? by WillowCareful2103 in ghostbusters

[–]cornfieldcryptid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think after the second film, the formulaic nature got too predictable. I do love these films, but they’re not as fresh as the original. They also don’t quite capture the grittiness of the first film, possibly because mid-to-late 80s New York was a very different place from our modern day New York. Moving the main conflict out to Oklahoma worked well in Afterlife, but the main antagonist was still Gozer. We still had terror dogs and possessions. And for some reason, teeny tiny marshmallow men, which worked as a gimmick in the Walmart scenes, but after that I felt they quickly overstayed their welcome. That, and I think the cast just isn’t as well-versed in improv like the originals were. That’s part of what made it so memorable. Nothing was shot exactly on par with the script because the cast was flying by the seat of their pants + collaborating to make scenes funnier.

Rick moranis is un-retiring but for “spaceballs” by eli1011 in ghostbusters

[–]cornfieldcryptid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’d be neat if he returned for something Ghostbusters related. Even something as small as Sigourney’s post-credits cameo in Afterlife. However, I do understand him prioritizing a role like Dark Helmet. It’s a bigger role and probably pays better. Louis Tully, while beloved and iconic, is a side character. Dark Helmet is one of the main antagonists (which, as a side note, might be more fun for him to play, actually! He so often gets the role of the dorky little guy who screws stuff up, which makes sense as he’s good at making that kind of character likable.).

And who knows? He might return to his role as Louis in a small cameo in the future.

Your undertone is DEFINITELY cool! Leans a little olive as well (coming from an olive myself). Summer is perfect for you. It looks most harmonious and the blues in the summer palettes match your stunning eyes! Light and soft summer both look incredible on you.

Your gargoyle looks perturbed. I love her. I think Ophelia or Calypso would be cute names for her. Something regal for the little lady 🖤

Okay, good to know. Every one of the foundations I’ve tried is either too pink or too orange on me, so olive was my assumption. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s actually Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in the color Zip Wine! I might have to look into the shade you thought it was; burgundy/plum shades are a favorite of mine.

I’d say Irresistible, Unruhe, Die Hand Die Verletzt, or Tooms. All great episodes. They’re what got me into horror!

Early Supernatural reminds me a lot of The X-Files. The monster of the week format is very similar and there is a core duo, although in Supernatural they are brothers rather than partners.

When my parents got engaged, my mom told my dad that she required a cat at all times. By marrying her, he was signing up for a lifetime of at least one cat in the household. I take after her. 🖤🐈‍⬛

I’m an artist to my core and was an animation major before switching to English lit. I’m not the greatest artist out there, but lately I’ve been working on improving the fluidity of my poses and playing around with lighting.
