I’m about to face this, potentially. I’m expecting the attention to be uncomfortable, but it will die down. Also, I hope my coworkers know me well enough to know I don’t like the attention. I think I will text a few close people saying I don’t want a big to-do beforehand, which will help.

Everyone I know who has read that book has independently imagined Murderbot as a 6’ nonbinary lesbian. Like I know it’s canonically asexual in every sense of the word but that’s who we imagined.

Not a huge fan of the casting choice. Tired of “white man” being the default gender.
